Oval tablet. Just found in an old purse and wondering why I have it there? ## Does this oval tab have the marking APO on the opposite side of the pill? If so, it is likely Doxazosin mesylate 2 mg (NDC 60505-0094). NOTE: the full marking would be 094 on one side and APO on the other. Doxazosin Mesylate is an alpha blocker used to treat high blood pressure and benign prostatic hyperplasia. ## I also found a white oval caplet with 094 and no markings on the other side. What is it if there is no APO? ## Probably Kirkland brand Robaxacet - acetominophen and methocarbamol ## What is an oval white pill 094 on one side and nothing on the other side?

Found this pill in my grandmas house. I think it's orange but some may call it yellow. It's got AP 25 on one side and a weird looking P on the other side. Not sure what it is? ## Hi Shelly, The closest match I've been able to find is Ranitidine HCL (150 mg); which is commonly used in treatment of peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease. Ranitidine is also used alongside fexofenadine and other antihistamines for the treatment of skin conditions such as hives. This medication comes in the form of a white round pill with the imprint APO over 025 on the front and nothing on the back. Manufacturer: Apotex Corp. National Drug Code (NDC): 60505-0025 Could you describe the P logo on the back? Is it just a P or is there an A (without the middle line) directly above t...

white pill 100 mg ## white scored caplet with APO on one side and 960 on other side ## A tablet with marking APO 096 is listed by Apotex Corp as containing 8mgs of Doxazosin, which is used to treat prostate enlargement in men, as well as hypertension. NDC code: 60505-0096 It's typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, increased urination, dehydration, and hypotension, according to FDA reports. The inactive ingredients may include: Croscarmellose Sodium, Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Cellulose Microcrystalline, but they may vary depending upon the manufacturing facility. But it is not a 100mg tablet, 8mgs if the highest dosage available in this medication. Are there any questions?

How do you avoid the passing out side effect and waking up forgetting everything?? Everytime I take a Xanax whether it the bars or this blue oval pill it knocks me out. Should I cut it in halfs?? ## You really should have been started on the lowest dose possible, certainly not the 2 mg bars? I'd speak with your doctor about this or cut them in half. ## Thank you man that helps explain it.

Xanax 605 Blue Pill I would like to switch over to Xanan 605 Blue Pill. Can I do that right away or do I have to wean off the ativan. Are there any side effcts. I heard Ativan and Xanax are about the same. I am on Antivan #2. ## Hello, Naneej! How are you? The Xanax is actually stronger, so for each 2mgs you take of the Ativan, you'd need just 1mg of Xanax. Why do you want to switch? Is the Ativan working for you? This medication may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## No they are not the same but both are benzodiazepines. Lorazepam (Ativan) is a drug used for treating anxiety. It is in the benzodiazepine family of drugs, the same family that includes diazepam (Valium), alprazolam (Xanax), clonazepam (Klonopin), flu...

So I got some of these Xanax. Where I'm from we call them footballs. I recently started taking hydrocodone and now have been having withdrawals without them. Do you think these footballs will help me quit hydrocodone? I've never had withdrawals from Xanax in all my years of taking them. I definitely don't want the withdrawals from the norcos tho and I'd like to quit ASAP considering that I've only been taking them for about a month. Different kinds of course the white 365 & 367, the yellow 10s, and now the white with red dots. The white with red dots really cause me to withdraw. ## I was given Norco for my Car accident and did experience withdrawal problems. I was down to one a day, then a half a day and still experienced discomfort. Xanax on the other hand has t...

Found round white pill in brown cottle dated 1956. Rx #6052. Could be Valum. ## Hi James, How's it going? I just tried looking up the Rx number you provided, but after a few searches came to realize that this number can't actually be used to identify any pill in particular. I believe it's supposed to be a number the pharmacy might use within their realm of keeping track of prescriptions. However if you still happen to have the pill in your possession, I would encourage you to post back with any additional markings that might be on it as well. This way we can know for certain that it is what you say it is and not something else in the wrong bottle. I hope this helps and I'll look forward to hearing back from you!

Would like to know what kind of pill this is. ## Based on my research, I've only come across one pill that actually closely resembles your description of the pill. The one I found is a 400mg Acyclovir tablet, used for treating herpes simplex. It's a white oblong-shaped tablet with a large capital "A" that has a partial vertical line (like this "/") going through the side of it... and right next to the letter A is the following set of numbers "5306"; no markings on the backside. For verification, the manufacturer is reported to be Apotex and the tablet itself carries a National Drug Code of 60505-5306. Does this sound like it could be a possible match?

Found round white pill in brown bottle dated 1956. Rx #6052. Could be Valum. ## Hello, James! How are you? Unfortunately, the RX number only provides information to the pharmacist that filled the prescription, it is not a universal thing that can be used to identify anything. Being that they are that old, the likelihood of finding an identification is pretty slim, because it's probably something that isn't even manufactured anymore. Is there any other information on the label? Any markings on the pill?

What is this pill for. 1/2 blue and 1/2 light blue with Mylan 6050 on it. ## I haven't found an exact match for this pill, but many other Mylan capsules have come very close to your description; leading me to think that the numbers "6050" might be off. Is there any way you can confirm this? If not, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer (Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.) directly on mylan.com to see which of their products this might be. I hope this helps! ## it says 6050 0n it.Its in one of my prescriptions with Cephalexin on it. White oblong scored pill with 10 & 20 on one side & APO On the other. I don't know exactly what it is? Thnx ## Based on the description provided, I found your white oblong pill to be Torsemide (20 mg). Manufacturer: Apotex Corp. National Drug Code (NDC): 60505-0234 NOTE: the correct imprint is actually "T0" instead of "10" - so it reads "APO" on one side and "T0 | 20" on the other. Torsemide is a pyridine-sulfonyl urea type loop diuretic mainly used in the management of edema associated with congestive heart failure, but has other uses as well. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Torsemide Details I hope this helps!
