It is a white oval pill with L484 on one side; used as a pain reliever similar to vicodin. ## I think it's Acetaminophen extra strength. ## that is ## OBill's identification is correct and just to add specifics on the dosage for other site users, it contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a store brand or generic for Extra Strength Tylenol and is available over the counter. A good rule of thumb to remember is that these tablets with an L followed by 3 additional numbers are all over the counter products, that is all this company manufactures. However, if you see an L with other combinations that aren't just 3 numbers, then it may be a prescription drug product. Are there any questions I can help with? I've found a white oblong pill with rounded ends. It's embossed with "L404" on one side, while the other side is plain. Thank you in advance for any help identifying it. ## I think that the imprint being reported is actually L484 instead of L404. Is it possible that the '8' is just worn down? If so, then the tablet in question is actually just an over the counter pain reliever containing Acetaminophen 500 mg (not a narcotic). NDC 49348-042 among others. Inactive Ingredients: - Carnauba Wax - Starch, Corn - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Povidones - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed ## I believe your pill is Acetaminophen 325mg, Dextromethorphan 15mg, Guaifenesin 200mg, phenylephrine 5mg, which are active ingredients in Cold PE Severe Congestion, an OTC combo. #...

Was looking through my meds for Tylenol for arthritis & back pain (deteriorating spinal column) and found a vial of white oblong pills with L583 on one side. Are these Tylenol? ## I found pills meeting that description in my container of Kirkland Acetaminophen 650 mg. (Arthritis Pain relief) pills. ## From what I understand all of the imprints with "L" followed by three digits (e.g. L484, L583, etc) are indicative of various over-the-counter products; often manufactured by LNK International Inc. As far as the pill identity is concerned, it could be Acetaminophen as post #1 suggested, but I just came across a Kirkland Acetaminophen 650mg pill with a National Drug Code of 63981-544 that bears an imprint: L544 as opposed to L583. The NDC code points to a brand called "Kirkl...

I looked at the pill upside down also and am not certain if this is a Tylenol or something else? Any ideas? ## @Jack, You had mentioned looking at the pill upside down also... Upon doing so, did you get the notion at the the "7" was an upside down "L"? Or that the "4"s appeared more accurately? I'm only curious because there's a white oblong pill imprinted with "L484" that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500 mg) and it's pretty much the exact opposite of your depiction when held right-side-up. NDC: 30142-0484 / 56062-484 / 49348-042 Inactive Ingredients: - Carnauba Wax - Starch, Corn - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Povidones - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed I hope this info helps!

I found a half of a white oval pill scored 84 (the left half is missing) In my teenage sons room. I'd like more info befour I ask him about it. Any help or advice please? ## With only half of the pill, so this site doesn't know the full imprint, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. There are several possibilities, both among prescription medications and over the counter products. Just as an example: A white, oval, marked L484 is 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic, or store brand of Tylenol. It could be half of this one is the imprint is kind of shallow and not well done, since it's an over the counter product. Does anyone else have any ideas of what this could be? ## found the same thing in my pocketbook when I emptied it andU I believe it is an OTC Aceto...

I founf a oblong white pill D484 on one sidevan and blank on the other side . ## Hi roxie, Any chance that the marking says L484 as opposed to D484? Reason I ask is because I did locate a white oblong pill that has L484 on one side and is blank on the other. But I've yet to see one with D484. This particular pill is identified as a 500mg Acetaminophen tab, made by Kroger Co.; and for verification the approximate size of the tablet is reported to be 16.00 mm. I hope this helps! I'll still look forward to hearing back from you if you believe it to be something different.

I have this pill. I'm not reading it upside down. It has no manufacturer marks. It just has the letters or numbers 4847 and that's all. ## What pill shape oval size and the inprint of 4847 what are they and what are they called ## Hello Doug, Unfortunately after extensive research nothing comes up for a pill with the imprint 4847. I know that you said you weren't reading it upside down but just in case I found a white oblong pill imprinted with L484 that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500mgs) which is a store brand or generic Extra Strength Tylenol. I have a renewed prescription of Propox -N - Apap 100 - 650 mg tablets. The renewed tablet is White in color which have 93-490 markings. My old tablet is pink in color and has 5114 marking. Did I receive the wrong pill on me renewed prescription? The labels on both bottles are the same, but the pills are different. ## white pill with marking L484, is this a darvacet? ## To the original poster, no, you did not receive the wrong medication. That is the same thing as what you were already taking, just manufactured by a different company. Once a drug is available for generic production, it can be made by many, many companies and each company will have to use a different marking on their tablets so they can be appropriately identified. ## Brenda: NO!
