I found this pill under my dresser. I’m told it’s a contraceptive, but my current birth control pills are not blue. I’ve never taken Tri-previfem before, which is what it’s identified as, but I have taken Ortho-tricyclen and TriNessa which are alternate brand names I’m told. Would the inscription be the same across the different brand names? ## Confirming that the pill you found corresponds with the markings found on Tri-Previfem (NDC 0603-7663). While it does contain a similar active ingredient profile as Ortho-Tricyclen (NDC 50458-191) and TriNessa (NDC 21695-407), the inscription should differ across brand names. This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Warfarin, which is a blood thinner. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. Is there anything else I can help with?
