I just got a prescription of Pravastatin 10mg filled...It is a white tablet with 228 on one side and RDY on the other. Is this Pravastation 10mg? ## Hello, Larry! How are you? Is it possibly A333 on a white, capsule shaped tablet? If so, it contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it's a generic for Percocet (NDC 0228-2983). This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Is it also possible that it could be a white tablet with a logo on it, followed by a score line, then the numbers 833? I have a white oblong pill that just has A5 on it. I cant find info on it anywhere. Is it supposed to be oxycodone? ## There are white round Oxycodone (5mg) pills that are marked with A5, but I haven't come across an oblong one yet. For verification, the round ones are manufactured by Actavis and carry a National Drug Code of 00228-2876. You could contact Actavis directly to find out if they switched from round pills to oblong pills... Otherwise, if yours isn't from a licensed pharmacy then I can only assume that it's counterfeit, foreign, or something else altogether. Hope this helps!

Why is this pill so hard to find info on? If it is oxycodone the drug # does not come up when you search it? Just like to be sure that it is what it is supposed to be. Please give me info, a link or something. ## Hi tyrone, A lot of people have been asking about this specific pill lately and I think it's mainly because they do not have it listed yet on standard pill ID sites. Actavis (the manufacturer) however, does in fact list it on their product webpage as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain.
