Does anyone know what the dosages are for phenchrom. I've been reading about it and want to try it but my doctor doesn't know the dosage amounts to prescribe. Can anyone help with this? ## Phen/Chrom contains Phentermine and Chromium Picolinate, the Chromium is added, because it is believed to help improve the use of insulin in the body, which can also aid with weight problems. It's not listed in any prescription drug information, so I am not even sure if this combination is available in the U.S. Have you tried asking your pharmacist about it? ## 37.5 is my dose... i love it!! ## I have high blood pressure which I take meds for and it's under control.... if I take phen chrome will this effect my high blood pressure? Why can't I find any information on this? My Dr. wants me to take it for weight loss but I found that it isn't a prescription and it has to be made at a special pharmacy. I know phen-phen was a bad deal, is this different? ## It sounds like the regimen which you have been recommended is a dose of Phentermine coupled with Chromium Picolinate. The Chromium is an over the counter nutritional supplement which is supposed to help reduce cravings for fat & carbs - although I do not believe that extensive clinical trials have been conducted to prove its efficacy. Fen-phen is completely different such that it contained an ingredient Fenfluramine which was deemed to be unsafe, and was banned by the FDA. I have heard reports of individuals having good results with the Phen Chrome comb... ...

DOES THIS EVEN WORK FOR ANYONE..I RECENTLY TRIED THE PHEN/CHROM 37.5/200 AND WORKED GREAT AND NOW I WAS PRESCIBED THE 45/200 PHENT CHROME AND THE RESULTS ARE THAT I FEEL HUNGRY ALL DAY..IM CONFUSED ## Hello, Betty! How are you? Most people do eventually hit a plateau, where weight loss seems to level off and slow down, so that might be what's happened to you. As to feeling hungry, have you changed anything else, such as your diet or activity levels? The typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and anorexia. How often do you eat meals? ...

Phen Chrom Versus Phentermine

My Dr put me on #30 c - Phen/Chrom Special Capsule. I also have Phentermine 37.5 . Which one of these works better for weight loss? And can I take both of them together? Please help! ## Phen/Chrom contains Phentermine and Chromium Picolinate, so it still contains the medication you were taking, but the Chromium is added, because it is believed to help improve the use of insulin in the body, which can also aid with weight problems. And that means you shouldn't take them both, because you would doubling up on the Phentermine, which could be dangerous. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ...

Phentermine Chromium Picolinate
2 Replies RSS
I was recently recommended to get on a daily program of Phentermine and Chromium Picolinate. I would basically have to take the Phentermine along with the Chromium one hour after breakfast, and then a second dose of the Chromium in the early afternoon. I was wondering if anybody had additional details about this regimen? ## Chromium Picolinate is a nutritional supplement which is supposed to help reduce cravings for fat & carbs - I imagine that combining this with Phentermine (an amphetamine-based appetite suppressant) can indeed be conducive to weight loss. (Although I would highly recommend doing this under strict doctor supervision!) I have heard reports of individuals having good results with the "Phen-Chrome" combination (for instance, losing upwards of 20-30 pounds in ... ...

Adapexin P

Has anyone taken these??? its supposed to be the number one diet pill choice... but seems weird that it's not even on here. hmm. ## The reason that Adapexin P is not on here is because we are a prescription drug information website and it is a natural herbal supplement. That means it is not approved by the FDA and, in spite of their claims, it is not actually proven to do anything to help with weight loss. The active ingredients are listed as being: Phenylethylamine, Glucomannan, Chromium, Raspberry Ketones, Evodiamine, Ginger Root, Caffeine and Vitamin B12. These have been believed for many years to help with various health problems, but as I said, not actually proven. If you really want to lose weight, your best bet is to save your money and follow a proper diet and exercise regim... ...

ACE diet pills effects
6 Replies RSS
Hi everyone, my girl friend started taking these last week and started getting some headaches so she decided to stop. Has anyone else tried these and did they get any good results? She wants to use them to help her lose weight but doesn't like the headaches. Is it a normal side effect of this? Any other advice? ## Was she drinking enough water? Dehydration is a common cause of headaches and diet pills tend to cause it. You have to drink lots of water whenever taking supplements like this. ## I am seeing that ACE diet pills contain the following ingredients [1]: Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Chromium, Vanadium, and a "Proprietary ACE blend" of Green Tea Extract, Phenylethylamine (PEA), Trimethylxanthine, Theobromine, Methylsynepherine, Raspberry Ketone (Raztone), Green Coffee Bean... ...

I failed for Phenobarbital-60mg and the only drugs I had taken were Diurex-a water caplet,Mucinex D-600mg Guaifensin and 60mg Pseudoephedrine Extended Release Bi Layer Tablet,Ibuprofen-800 mg,and Acetaminophen-500mg.Truthfully I have never taken anything like this before never have I even heard of this drug till now.So if there is anyone out there that can help me it would be very appreciative. Thanks and it might also keep me out of jail so please help. ## I was researching ways in which you may be able to dispute a false positive and I came up on the following information: "There is specific testing, such as that done by a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, which has the ability to distinguish the exact substance in question. This type of testing is not initially performed becaus... ...

false positive for methamphetamine phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine
1 Reply RSS
I was told by my Dr. to take Claritin D (pseudoephedrine) and I already had been taking a nasal spray containing phenylephrine. I tested positive in a saliva test for ephedrine and methamphetamine. I have never taken methamphetamine in my life. Can these two compounds cause a false positive for methamphetamine? ## Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine (I'll use "ephedrine" to mean both from this point forward) can, and often do, show up as methamphetamine on a drug screen. The two compounds have nearly identical molecular structure, the only difference being a single oxygen molecule more (ephedrine) or less (methamphetamine). The above notwithstanding, a drug screen can still differentiate the two but it takes a a certain kind of test called GC/MS (gas chromatography/mass spectromet... ...
