got , whats upa script this morning for 60 dilaudid 4mg and no drug store has any ## How have you been checking to see if they have them in stock? If you have just been calling the pharmacies, you are not likely to get a straight and accurate answer. Due to the extremely high risk of theft, phone calls requesting any controlled substances usually just result in your being told that they do not have any in, or do not carry them, at all. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer, or a potential thief. The only way to get a real answer is by actually going in to the pharmacy, with your prescription in hand. ## i normally fill my 4mg hydromorphones at CVS. They ALL, i repeat ALL will tell you they either do nat carry, have or just plain cannot give that... ...

Just moved here and can't find anyone to fill my script for dilaudid. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? In a lot of pain ## Is it a prescription from a local doctor or a doctor from your former location? If they aren't local, that could be contributing to the problem. Additionally, you'll need to physically go to pharmacies, with the prescription in hand, in order to get an honest answer on whether or not they carry it. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache and constipation. Does anyone else have any advice or ideas to add? ...

i am currently unable to fill my Dilaudid 2mg due to no pharmacies carrying it. My dr has tried everything and feels that Dilaudid would be my best bet for pain control. I have a mass in my stomach and in severe pain. Due to not being able to find the Dilaudid I have to go to the ER every other day for pain injections and hydration. Any advice? ## Beck have you tried a compounding pharmacy? You may also try to get the social worker at the hospital to help you with resources. Can you fill your rx at the hospital where you are being treated? ## Hi Beck, I understand that none of the pharmacies you've checked carry it in their stores, but have you also considered mail-order options through Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and others? It may take longer to arrive, but at least there would be a... ...

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. No major drug stores carry it so I ordered it from a "mom and pop" store. Anyone have any idea how long it takes for the store to get it in ? ## How long does it take for a pharmacy to order dilaudid ## That can vary from pharmacy to pharmacy, so there's no answer I can give you, I'm sorry. Didn't they give you an approximate time frame? Some pharmacies have medications delivered weekly, but others may only receive shipments biweekly or monthly. The FDA classifies this medication as a This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## They said it should be filled tomorrow. i have a RX for dilaudid 8mg. they are on back-order in Md.wher can i get my script filled?? ## Dilaudid is a potent narcotic analgesic containing the active ingredient Hydromorphone. I am not in MD, so I really am not sure who might have a supply of them. For some reason this issue has been coming up a lot recently with various narcotic medications. I know for the brief period I lived in MD and was on narcotic pain management, I had to find a pharmacy that specialized in carrying pain management medications, as most regular pharmacies did not keep them in stock. It is very hard to find these controlled substances from online pharmacies, but you may be able to do a search to check for them. Have you also tried contacting your insurance company? Some of them have certain mail order pharm... ...
