M 358 This is Acetaminophen 500mgs and Hydrocodone 7.5mgs, a generic for the narcotic analgesic Lortab. ## they are fine but sumtimes i have to take like 4 for them to do any good but it is hard to get them perscribed from a doc any higher than 5 mg's or 7.5 mg's ## Is there a pain medication without Tylenol (acetaminophen) in it? I drink alcohol, and advised NOT to take Tylenol. ## Yes roxicodone which is oxycodone ( ingredient in Percocet) without acetemetaphine

I have have been taking percocet for pain of 2 rods in my back and a 357 mag gunshot wound to my thigh which shattered my femur. I was taking 70mg of oxcodone a day for pain but now my new pain management doctor put me on 30mg of MS Contin 2x a day plus 5/325 percocet 3x a day if needed for break thru pain.My question is will this be as effective or not and why?
