Percocet 512

Is there a medication called percocet 5125. If so, what is it, what does it look like what mg is it? ## No, the medication name would just be Percocet, it contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so it's a narcotic pain reliever. Sometimes numbers do follow the name to designate the dosage, but there is no Percocet on the market with 5mgs of Oxycodone and 125mgs of Acetaminophen. However, there is on that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. It is made by several different manufacturers, so the markings on them will vary, depending on who made it. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERCOCET M357 AND PERCOCET 512 ## M357 is NOT percocet, it is a different class of narcotic pain reliever called lorcet or hydrocodone. it is a generic version and not as strong as a perc 5/12 ## That is correct, M357 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is not an equivelent to Percocet, but, as stated above, a generic for Vicodin or Lortab. A friend said if I mix one pill of l484 with a percocet 512 that it intensifies the effect of the percocet.. Is this true? Does more acetaminophen make that happen? ## Hello, Todd! How are you? No, that is not true and it is not safe to do. Taking too much Acetaminophen in any 8 hour period, or within 24 hours could result in fatal toxicity. I'm worried about my friend. She takes percocets and usually gets the ones that say 512. However sometimes she gets other kinds and complains about there not as good so she takes more. I know percocets have tylenol in them and i am worried about her overdosing on tylenol or the oxycodone in it. How much is to much? Also she usually don't take them all at once but she will take alot throughout the day. I am feeling LIGHT HEADED and itchy on Roxicet. I have been taking 512 oxycdone for years for chronic pain and now they switched it to Roxicet and I feel horrible Is this a reaction anyone else has gotten? ## Hi Dee, Based on my research, both Percocet and Roxicet contain Oxycodone + Acetaminophen. My guess is that your body may be reacting to whatever binders/fillers and other "inactive" ingredients are in the Roxicet formula, that weren't present in the Percocet formula. I am taking the percocet 512 white tablets 5mg/325 for severe back pain due to degenerating disc(s). I have been told 1 pill every 8 hours, but find the pain so excruciating after about 5 hours that I cannot even stand... even to use the bathroom or shower.
