I'm on Zubsolv - Do I fill my Percocet after surgery?
11 Replies RSS
I have been taking suboxone/zubsolv for the past eleven months. I was taking subs but my insurance refused to pay for them so now I am on Zubsolv 5.7/1.4 two times a day. I went to see my doctor on May 5, 2015 and got my script for 60 zubsolv. However, when I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist told me that my doctor was no longer covered by my insurance, and I would have to pay cash. I have been buying a few at the time when I could afford them. Needless to say, I can't afford two a day so I have been taking just one a day. When I contacted my doctor, I got no answer for four days. I went to my OB/GYN for a routine exam and was told I need an outpatient surgery in four days. He gave me a prescription for Percocet (he knows I take zubsolv) for post op pain. Haven't filled it be... ...

Maximum dosage limits for Percocet in Tennessee.

Nov. of 2016 I moved from Pa. to Tenn. out of family need. I am 60 yrs. old and had numerous lower back and cervical surgeries. In Pa. I received 180 percocet 10/325 per month. My pain spec. here in Tenn. will only prescribe 120 per. month saying by Tenn. law this is the max amount allowed per month. Can anyone tell me if this is fact? Thanks. ## Yes, it can vary from state to state. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. If it isn't controlling your pain, you may want to speak to your doctor about trying a different medication. Does anyone else have any advice to offer? ...

how long after taking methadone can i take a percocet
3 Replies RSS
Is it normal for a doctor to switch me from oxy 10/325 to Methadone 20 GM's a day? I have severe back pain and the oxy wasn't working anymore after being in it for 6 years! ## Hello, Chrissy! How are you? Did you mean 20mgs of Methadone? It does not come in grams. There is no hard and fast rule for pain management, it is up to your doctor and what they think would work best for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you're not happy about taking Methadone, then you are free to inform your doctor that you'd like to try something else. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I was strolling through and found this question.. sometimes ... ...

generic percocet 10 a333 white oblong not regulated

pleased be advised, that this a333 form is not regulated my pain doctor tells me they are only about 85 to 87 percent narcotic per the food and drug administration can not regulate as if it was an name brand made in the us so if you find it strange why it worked thed first 4 hours and not the next well there is your answer. ## Hello, Meister! How are you? I think there are some basic misunderstandings going on here. It isn't that the FDA can't regulate them, because they aren't made in the U.S. that has nothing to do with it. All generics must meet the same quality control guidelines, regardless of where they are manufactured. However, the FDA permits generics to have an allowable fluctuation in the amount of the active ingredient, that difference is plus or minus 20% and it ... ...

In chronic pain and no doctor will prescribe percocet
Post a Reply
I have chronic back pain due to a torn rotator cup, herniated disk and chronic arthritis. Had surgery on my rotator cup in feb of 2013....About 6 months later the pain was back and terrible... My dr did an mri and it showed a worse torn rotator in 3 spots. He had me do 6 weeks of pt, which was no help, then put me on percocet three times daily and it made a huge difference... I still had some pain but was able to do so much more. Now since the fda changed all these laws, I am in chronic pain constantly....It kills me to just take a shower. I live alone right now and cannot do surgery again and be on my own. I dont have family or friends to help like that. So since all the laws changed they had me on tylenol #4's.....3 times a day. Now...They wont continue with those!! When laws chan... ...

I have been on 80 mgs of Percocet for a number of ailments for 9years and now because of some kind of law I only get 22,5 mgs a day. I am 62 years old, got hurt 24 years ago and I continued to work even thought I was in pain untio 2007, now I am on disability. have been able to control pain with Percocet. what I don't understand is the fact that I never asked for pain meds but they were prescribed almost 10 years ago and then they r reduced to 1/4 of the strength. ## They will provide you with FREE treatment options. You will not EVER get meds like that again in INDIANA. We are the second strictest state now. They began tapering my hubby off 1/4, then another 1/4, and again 1/4 until he is on 25% of beginning doses after four months. ALL BEFORE the law took affect in December. ## I ... ...

What Does A Name Brand 10mg 325 Percocet Pill Look Like
16 Replies RSS
I recently re-filled my pain management prescripton for "Percocet 10/325MG and they look totaly different from my usual "Name Brand Percoset's" Why do they look different and what should they look like? ## The name brand Percocet in that dosage is an oblong, yellow tablet with the word Percocet on one side and 10-325 on the other. As to why yours look different, it is highly possible that you received a generic this time. There are many of them on the market and how they look and what the markings are will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some of the imprints and descriptions include: WATSON 932, round, white IP 204, oval, white M532 10/325, oblong, white 106, round, white And this is not a comprehensive list, it's just a couple of examples. Trying to find a doctor in Ocala, FL to prescribe Percocet
1 Reply RSS
I have been seeing a doctor that refuses to prescribe my Percocet. I have recent MRI films that show disc degeneration, spurs, disc bulging and I have lost all of the curve in my neck. I have been on total disability since 2005.Since she substituted them with Tramadol and Soma muscle relaxants, I have been in so much pain that I cannot stand or walk for any period of time. I can only lay propped with pillows. Since this, I have gained around 80+ pounds in a little over a years time! I am miserable! Please help! ## I know of a dr that will give you the Percocet you are needing in Ocala. His name is Dr. Zhou and he is in the Florida Pain Management and Rehabilitation Clinic. My doctor has me taking three 5 325 percocet every 4 hours
1 Reply RSS
I am a cancer patient and this amount scares me. I have never heard of taking three every 4 hrs. I have taken 2 before after my lymph node removal but never 3. Is this really safe? ## Hi Desiree, I can certainly understand your concern about taking too much Acetaminophen. 325mgs x 3 = 975mgs and then multiply that by 6 times daily (if taken every 4 hours) and you get 5850mgs of Acetaminophen - aka - a very toxic blow to your liver. Prior to 2016, the maximum daily dose of Acetaminophen was marked as high as 4000mgs... As of now, the new maximum was brought down even further to 3000mgs, to ensure liver health isn't compromised. If I were you I would not take nearly as much as was recommended; but I would encourage you to talk with the doctor about the idea of taking regular Oxycodone... ...

Percocet - round, white pill, no markings, line going down the middle on one side
7 Replies RSS
I was prescribed this drug a while back. I'm trying to find out the strength of it...no markings so I can't look it up myself. ID on the bottle is 200658, but that doesn't seem to work on the searches I've done. Anyone have any ideas? ## Was this in the U.S.? The reason I ask is because all U.S. prescription pills are required to have unique markings to enable their identification. This means that if they have no markings, they are not a legal, U.S. prescription tablet, of any type. What else is on the bottle? ## found round peach pill on one side mylan A3 on the other side is just blank with a line down the middle ## Mylan A3 contains 0.5mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax, it is a Benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Percocet - round, white pill, no markings, line going down the middle on one side.

Apart from the title description, they are slightly larger than your average pill I would say. They are obviously foreign, based on the fact that there is no sort of number or imprint on them. On the bottle I was given them in, the ID# is 200658, but I'm not able to find anything with the searches I've done. Anyone have any idea on the dosage of them? ## I can't find anything listed under that number, either, which is understandable, because most of those are internal control numbers that are unique to the pharmacy, doctor or whatever they were dispensed from. Without any markings or an NDC number, I am afraid it is going to be very difficult to discover their dosage. They have, however, been asked about before and that person also identified them as Percocet, they just coul... ...
