I HAVE AN INNER EAR INFECTION, AND I HAVE BEEN TAKING PENTREXYL AMPICILINA CAPSULAS 500 MG ORAL PILLS. ALONG WITH FALCON NEOMYCIN AND POLYMYXIN B SULFATES AND HYDROCORTISONE OTIC SUSPENSION EAR DROPS.I WAS WANDERING WILL THIS CLEAR UP MY EAR INFECTION? I have some capsules that are Grey and Red and have the imprint Bristol 500. What are they? ## It is Bristol-Myers Squibb Pentrexyl ampicilina. 500mg. Basicaly penicillin from Mexico. ## Can this product be bought without a prescription? ## @Rosie, Based on my research, the law requires a prescription for antibiotics, so in order to obtain Penicillin legally you would need a prescription. Therefore, the answer to your question is no- you would not be able to purchase Penicillin without a prescription (unless you were to purchase it illegally), which of course, I do not recommend doing.
