My doctor suggested I take pause 500mg 3 times daily for 3 days. What is the substitute for the same in case not availabale here ## Pause contains the active ingredient Tranexamin Acid, which is commonly used to help stop bleeding. Another brand name for this medication is "Cyklokapron". If you don't have any luck finding "Pause", I would suggest searching under that name as well as for "Tranexamin Acid". Hi, my gynae told me to take pause 500mg on the days I have heavy bleeding. My second and third days are usually heavy but this time after taking pause on the second day my bleeding reduced so much. My wife is 5.5 wks pregnant and she started bleeding since yest afternoon. We visited our doc last evening and he suggested Progestrone vaginal inserts, which we started administering once a day since last night. Her bleeding has increased since this morning and is bright red - no pains as yet. I'm 36 years old, since last month my periods have been irregular. Spotting was there for 10 days only, then my Gyno prescribed me medicine so that I can get my regular period and she suggested a pelvic scan. I'm now done with my pelvic scan and I have a simple cyst in my Ovary, and now I'm suffering with heavy bleeding since the last 8 days.
