Major headache, asked my brother in law for aspirn (he's a dentist in Mexico) and he hands me a febrax and says take this. What the hell is it? ## Febrax contains Paracetamol and Naproxen Sodium, it is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Hi, am 7 weeks pregnant. i am prescribed to take ecospirin 75 and Dubagest 300 along with Folvite. is it fine to take these tablets? Also i am having severe cold and cough. Hello, I'm not sure if this is common or not, over the last 4 or 5 years I was on wellbutrin off and on,(mostly on). In the past when I started up again, I always knew it was working because for the first roughly two weeks I would get all the common side effects: Insomnia,tremors, anxiety, even a little paranoia, and of course loss of appetite. After about 2 or 3 months I usually would loose a good 15 pounds or so while taking the medication. Do to an insurance issue I was off the medication for about year. Recently (almost 3 ago now), I started taking my usual dose of 300mg a day again. However, this time around I feel no side effects at all? There was only DICODID made by knoll in Germany but it was withdrawn last year. Only Hydrocodone now available is ZOHYDRO SR in the USA. It is also made in combination with high amounts of acetaminophen, usually 325, 500 or 650mg, one goes as high as 750mg! But there is legislation coming into force limiting any dosage unit of acetaminophen (paracetamol) in the USA (where 100% of the entire world's Hydrocodone is now used since the deletion of DICODID) to 300mg. Abbott have already issued their new 10/300mg pill. But I am afraid that Hydrocodone as a single drug now is only available as an SR med under that ZOHYDRO brand. My mother is currently on 20mg of Omesar daily. She is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and was successfully self managed on 300mgs of aspirin daily. Following a carotid enterectomy she was advised to stop taking aspirin and take paracetamol instead. This was not effective in controlling her painful symptoms and she started to take 400mgs of Ibuprofen daily, which she found effective. However her cardiologist told her she couldn't take this medication in conjunction with her present medication. I would like to know is there a specific reason it is contraindicated?

I have been on suboxone for almost two years now and have to pay $150 out of my disability, Medicaid covers the prescription but I was shot and am now partially paralyzed from the waist down n it doesn't really help with the pain, does anyone know if tri county methadone clinic accepts medicaid? Hello .I have been using Tylenol 1 with 8mg codeine to deal with chronic pelvic pain.. Sometimes I have to take alot like 13 to just hit the pain level..was prescribed Oxycodone 5/325.. 1every 4hrs.. will it be sufficient for pain level ? Until problem dealt with! ## Oh heck. Please stop taking 13 Tylenol tablets at a time! The 8mg of codeine isn't a particularly effective analgesic and the acetaminophen 300 mg, is paracetamol, which whilst being a very effective, useful, broad spectrum analgesic for mild to moderate pain (it can also be used to reduce a temperature, but I digress) is incredibly toxic when taken in excessive amounts. The maximum safe amount of acetaminophen/paracetamol you can take in a day is 4g/4000mg. So yes, technically you can take 13 of them in 24 hours, but y...

My father was a chronic pain patient with a spinal tumor who was moved off of Oxycontin and Dilaudid to methadone. Unfortunately, after a long, log battle, he became completely paralyzed and the tumor was in the process of killing him. He asked to be terminally sedated. The doctors put him on a morphine drip, but even after they quadrupled his dose, he was still in pain and awake. Eventually, they got to 4000mg a DAY of IV morphine, and it was ineffective. We did our research, and it showed there is NO conversion rate for methadone to morphine equivalents as there is with every other opioid. In other words, just to duplicate the 30-40mg a day of morphine he was taking would have required anywhere from 240-3000mgs of morphine - forget actually sedating him. hi, I've been taking quetiapine now for a number of years. I started out taking the extended release version of the drug for a couple of years, then was switched to the standard version around three years ago, as I suffer from insomnia, and cannot get to sleep without some kind of assistance, even where I haven't slept for days. I'm on 800mg per day, with 300 being taken during the day, and the remaining 500 being taken in the evening time. I have just takken my 3rd injection of cosentyx 150 mg. Other than poor sleep I did not suffer any of the other listed side effects. Until now. Overnight every gland I possess has swollen up.
