I am in treatment with pantop 40, which I take 20 min. before breakfast every day, but once a week I must take Actonel also one hour before eating anything in the morning, so I don't know which I should take first. I have been taking pantop 40 for more than 6 years now just when I wake up. I am scared of using the drug for so long and want to stop it but feel sick if I don't take it. Can you please let me know if it is harming me in any way and what other alternative is there. I am obese and suffer from slip disc and severe cramps in my legs when I sleep. Kindly guide. I was non symptamatic before taking pantoprazole. Now I have nausea, sleep problems and overall having stomach issues I did not have. Gastro doc prescribed after upper GI as a preventive measure. Ready to stop all together. ## Same problem here, once I take a Pantoprazole in the morning I cannot sleep the next night. Never had problems sleeping before. Will call the doctor and ask if something else is available. ## It can cause these types of issues, as side effects, in some people, so you both should contact your doctors and discuss trying something else. I also had problems with PPIs and had to stop using them. I'd taken the 14 day course of Pantop HP kit. After 10 days i'd symptoms of extreme weakness and headache. I'd started vomiting on the 13th day and next day i was diagnosed with jaundice...bilirubin count 4.1 mg/dl, SGTP 487. Nine months have passed and now my counts is Biliruben 1.8 , SGPT 41. Could the dosage of amoxicillin caused jaundice? . Please advise any meds that would gets my counts to normal.(Diet is strict... no proteint, no fats intake) ...
