I have been prescribed Pantium 40 (twice daily for 5 days) along with Phexin to treat some skin infection. I am presently in 14 weeks of pregnancy. My question is that is it safe during pregnancy? what is loxcin used for? ## Hi Themba! According to my research, this medication is for treating bladder infections, skin and structure infections, upper respiratory infections and pneumonia. This medication also goes by the name of Cloxacillan. I have been taking pantium pantoprazole 40mg. While on holidays I discovered actavis pantoorazol 40mg (much cheaper). I m presuming the two are the same , just different manufacturers.
