I am going to have surgery to repair a fractured humerus and percocet does nothing to help with the pain. I've been on PAin killers now for around 10 yrs. I started out with loratad 10/500 and they worked pretty good then they stopped making those and couldn't get relief from none of the rest. Finally my Dr.changed me to Percocet 10/325s. Well at first they seem to work then the past few months I can't seem to get relief. He even gave me tramadol to take in between but nothing!! I'm not wanting to go back to PAin clinic ...been there done that..was off in left field for a while but managed to come off all they had me on and was scared of Dr.s for a lil while but the PAin for too much and went to Dr. Which sent me to neurologist in turn has helped me for a lil over 3 yrs now. is there a 10 mg white percocet number on it P224 out there ## @Jezabel, I actually haven't come across any pills in particular that fit the imprint you provided. Do you happen to have this pill in your possession? I was thinking perhaps one of the numbers got misinterpreted, because the closest match I can find is a large white oblong pill with P225 stamped on it. The "P225" oblong white tablet is listed as Magnesium Salicylate (467.2 mg), an OTC analgesis for back pain relief. opana 10 vs percocet 10 for chronic pain in legs from neuropathy + severe muscle atrophy! Technically speaking the Opana (active ingredient Oxymorphone) is a significantly stronger pain killer than Percocet if you are taking the same dosage. However, depending on how your body metabolizes it and exactly how you are taking the medication could influence the result. Just received alvogen Percocet for the first time yesterday and was very skeptical being that I have gotten the actavis before and had such a bad reaction with no relief at all. After reading reviews I just knew that it wasn't going to work. This medication has exceeded all doubt. Took care of my pain very quickly with minimal stomach upset. I have had quite a few generic brands before from mallinkrodt, Roxane, endocet, qualities, and actavis. Mallinkrodt and Roxane being the best in my opinion. I am thankful. I was wondering if some one could help me? My husband has hurt his back really bad and also tore his ACL in his right knee at the same time! He had the surgery for his knee about a year ago. He recently re-injured his knee again. He was taking percocet for a very long time, but decided he did not want to be on a narcotic any longer. The doctor then gave him a prescription of Tramadol 50 mg. My husband is 6'6" tall and weighs just about 255lbs. One 50 mg of Tramadol doesn't work for him and the doctor will not change him. I ran out of oxycodone will Percocet replace the oxycodone ## Hi Barbara, The Percocet will not be identical to Oxycodone, because it also contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen as well. More over, a closer comparison would also depend on what dose of Oxycodone you were taking, since the maximum amount of Oxycodone that they put in Percocet is 10mgs. Are you getting Percocet from the same doctor who wrote your script for Oxycodone? If so, he/she should be able to help you determine what amount you should be taking in order to provide adequate pain relief. I hope this helps!

My little two new generation pharmacy has been closed since Thursday due to the holiday I am out of percocet can i take my hydrocodone 10/325 until late I can get my prococet? For future reference, you can do that, if your doctor approves, but you should be aware that the Oxycodone in the Percocet is stronger than the Hydrocodone, so you may not get as much pain relief. For chronic pain I was taking what I thought was a generic percocet which was a White Round Pill with TEC on one Side and a Line on the other side. About 3 per day.When recently I had my perscription refilled the pharmacist replaced these with a Smaller Round Pill with APO on one side and the number 5 above a line and below the number 325.They do not appear to be as effective but the pharmacist said that they were the same .Can any one explain why the change to these pills and why the difference in pain relief Thanks ## Its a cheap, generic form of percocet, perco is a registered orginal med. What manufacturer currently makes the best generic Percocet 10's? My pharmacy carries Mallinckrodt and I had a huge issue with their Norco years ago so I would like to ask if they'll order a different one for me but I don't know which would be good. I've been taking 15mg of Percocet with Tylenol in them for a year. My dr just gave me a 20mg dose without the Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Why is that? ## The ONLY difference in the two pills is the Tylenol, and 1 of the pills (oxy 20) has 5 mgs more than the Percocet 15? I put the ? i have been sent to a new dr. who doesn't want to prescribe percocet or any narcotic on a regular basis. This is the only pill besides Oxycontin which also helped. i don't know how to explain to my new dr. more than my chronic pains it is such a relief after more than 45yrs. of horrible diagnostics & operations, which has made me have severe panic attacks going to a new dr., any hospitals, or even to visit someone. It said to be detailed, so I hope I didn't end up rambling? I have 3 herniated discs 2 in my neck and 1 in the lower back. Also bulging discs-odd but, never heard exactly how many? Also degenerative arthritis in my entire spine and neuropathy in my feet. More too, but those are the main pain related. I'm almost 70. I have been taking 20mg Percocet 8am and 10-15mg at 4-4:30 pm.
