I'm 41 yes old living in indpls.and just got ins to be eligible for a pain clinic . now they say I have to have a gp refer me. I'm in so much pain and need dr willing to treat my pain until then. Not looking for a pill mill but someone who is not skeptical about pain meds either. I have spondolosis in my neck;hips;& lumbar. As well as a perm. Disabled left hand. Why are Dr's giving this out like CANDY and it doesn't help it just makes the matter act up MORE. I don't see why they give this for everyone? They don't test us for having IBS they just say I think you have it maybe and like they told me after I used it for over two weeks and nothing but Pain in the Belly and sharp pain and all the bloating, keep taking it as it some times takes up to six weeks before it starts working. Why should my Dr. tell me that and knowing I am in lots of pain and he needs to do something for the PAIN and not just go by what this Drug may or may not do. ## Most doctors will have you try the medication before doing any tests for IBS. what color pill is oxycodine 5mg/235 and for what kind of pain?is this pill good for arthritis? ## Hi Matthew, Oxycodone comes in multiple colors no matter the dosage, therefore I can't identify a pill based soley on the dosage information. In order to identify the color of any pill, I would have to know the imprint so that I could find an accurate match. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some names of good pain Dr in west tnt? Jackson or Memphis tn area. There are many in Jackson but most do not want to continue you on your meds. I have been on my meds for 3 yrs and have had every procedure out there. I live with chronic pain and have 4 small children and my medicine is the only thing that gives me enough relief to play with them. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I've been stabilized for three years after 20 years of therapy, interventional therapy, MRI;s and surgeries on my back, leaving me with piriformis spasms and back pain. On top, I had a cardiac arrest due to a medical error. I have to be careful of what I take due to this. I have looked high and low, either they are no longer taking pain patients or want to start injections all over again! Can anyone help me with the names of drs who are pain mngmnt. I've had a back surgery, titanium cage with 4 screws and below there I have a herniated disk pressing on my spinal cord. Is any one seeing a dr in nebraska for thier pain? I live here and would like to start a forum here ## I have seen a pain management doctor in Hastings and a pain management doctor in Grand Island Nebraska, and neither one of them will consider giving me pain medication even though I was on it for 10 years before and it helped. I have severe arthritis of the back knees neck and need double knee replacement a single parent with 10 year old and must stay active. I tried many many other forms of treatment without success. If you come across somebody let me know I would drive for miles. ## Kearney has a few I think. Have you tried there? I believe there are even a couple of fairly new ones. MIght be worth a try.

Hello I just moved to dallas tx from Oxford Connecticut in feb and I have not been able to find a reasonable enough dr to put me back on my old prescription. I was hit by a truck in my teens and my left leg was shattered and my lower back was severely damaged. I was working with a roofing company for 8 years in CT but I was severely injured last may on the job so I am now in the process of receiving workmens comp. My new injuries are due mainly to my childhood mishap so I was and am pretty much screwed for life. My dr in ct was prescibing me Percocet 30 mg for pain and xanax to help me sleep at night and I was pretty good for the past 4 yrs and was never really in much pain as I'm in now. Having a lot of trouble finding a doctor that will help me here. ## You will need to have a copy of your medical records from your previous dr or the dr new dr may offer to get them. Each dr has their own way of treating their patients. A new dr may or may not give you the same meds or the same dose that your previous dr did. Most dr will start new patients out on the mildest and lowest dose of pain meds and go from there. You will have to stick with a dr for a while to see how they may end up prescribing for you. I have had astnmy in left side .nerves and arteries suffered a lot of damage espicaly in left leg.i have constant pain in both areas,not to mention my lower back ,which i was in a automobile accident ,the last bone in my back has dropped and ride on my pelvis . I'm not sure I fully understand the gist of what you're saying, but it sounds like your best bet would be to find some other alternative form of therapy that can safely be used alongside what you're already taking. That way, if they ever do confiscate your meds for whatever reason, you'd at least have a backup form of treatment to help alleviate some of the pain.
