Clinic I go to now shut down last month and I got records to back me up, I take oxycodone 30mg 4x and oxymorphone 15mg er 3x...I need to find a clinic by first of month. I found one place but they do something called PPPFD monitoring, which I have no problem with pill counts. And I am cash pay no insurance, fighting disability, just had leg amputated, and will have other limb amputated once disability goes through...please help ## I hope you have found a place. There are quite a few places right in nashville just from a quick google search I found a pain management clinic with quite a few MDs and NP. Pretty sure they use that counting thing.

I live in Sioux Falls SD and I am trying to find a doctor that will prescribe pain meds. I had a pain management doctor that prescribed 4 10 mg hydrocodones a day, but moved to Nevada. Now I have moved back and she is full and can’t see me. I have arthritis, spinal stenosis, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disorder and a spinal fusion. My doctor keeps sending me in for epidurals for my lower back, and they sometimes work for two or three months, but it doesn’t help with the pain every where else. I work 10 hour days and barely make it through. Thinking about filling for disability, but I know it’s a long road. ## Very few, if any, people will recommend pain Doctors because that will normally cause too many people to come to them. The Doctor may think that they have bee...

I need to find a doc in ky that can help me with my pain. I've been going for years now and they decided to take me off my meds. The doctors want to give me shots in my back and I don't want that. I have been taking Percocet 10 for over 4 years and now they just want to give me ms contin 15 which gives me a bad headache and doesn't help my pain. I don't want a doc to overload me on meds. I hate that. I have to take what I do. I just need a doc that is close to where I live and can help me. I'm in the southern part of ky. ## Hello there from southeastern ky too. Trying to find a doctor myself. I was wondering can you give me the name of the one you go to now? ## Could someone tell me where I can find a pain doctor in Kentucky. Self pay or insurance. ## I recently move...

I have been on large doses of opioid pain medicine for 8 years. My conditions require it for me to walk and do anything out of bed. Now they are stopping it. I'm not ready to lay down the last couple years of my life, I want to spend it standing. Opioids have been used over 4000 years and a very smart Indian rheumatologist told me they have killed less people than most of the man made pharmaceuticals. My dose is high, but never needed changed. I really need a Pittsburgh doctor that can help me with the next 2 years of my life. I would placate the doctors and just go to bed, but I have 2 perfect boys. Unfortunately my youngest, 16, started having epilepsy in October. He needs me to get through this. His straight As are slipping, and he needs me up. He brought his computer in my room, ...

Does anyone know a good pain doctor or clinic in columbus, ohio who isnt afraid to prescribe meds? My Doc just got his license revoked, Thanks ## Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach in my opinion, is to discuss up front and honestly what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. Mos...

I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. I have already had 2 back surgeries as well as numerous IV's and still with no relief. I have degenerative disc disease, 3 herniated discs and one completely gone. I'm in constant pain and nothing helps. I was seeing a doctor that was prescribing 90-180 oxycodone 30mg for almost a year until one day he up and closed his practice with no notice. I have always taken my medication AS PRESCRIBED but still no doctor will prescribe anything stronger then 800mg Motrin or just want me to have more surgery. I'm 33 years old with 2 young children and not interested in having more surgeries. I just want to live as normal a life as possible. ## Unfortunately, if you're not going to explore ...

i need a doctor who prescribes methadone in philadelphia ## It may help if you provide a little more information, such as why you need the doctor, if it is for pain management or addiction treatment. Not all doctors do both. Can you be more specific, since you remain anonymous on here? Methadone is very potent narcotic and can cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

My dr in Mont., AL has been prescribing me 3 80mg oxycontin for several years. My visit last week he refilled my script and said it could be the last because he was told there was diversion possibly coming from his practice. Btw that was 3 a day. If he doesn't refill my script on my next visit, I need to find a Dr. quick. Is it legal not to wean a patient off? The pain clinics in this town are full. ## If he cannot continue to prescribe, he should be able to refer to another doctor or clinic that will accept his current patients. Has he suggested anyone? And yes, it is perfectly legal for a doctor to stop prescribing your medications, even if they are habit forming, at any time. They are not obligated to treat you or prescribe anything, unless you are in life threatening danger. As ...

Need an pain clinic too treat my pain i have had 2 knee surgerys and taken 2-3 Norco 10 is not treating my pain i also have back pain ## Try TVPC/Spine and Neuro Center in Huntsville. Dr Morris Scherlis is my anesthesiologist and he is great. My only issue with them really is that for office visits I have to see one of his two staff members and the guy(Greg) is kind of an ass. Sorta condescending and suspicious of patients it seems. Also, I have a few other issues besides my back/sciatic pain and I was on several different meds for it including Ativan for anxiety/stress and ambien for sleeping problems due to my pain...I've weaned myself off both of them in the past year and done the same with my muscle relaxers. I was so sick of taking so much medication I just had to do something....

Im looking for a pain doc for my fibromyalga ## Hi Patrice, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but most usually are. In addition to seeing a doctor, have you tried doing any exercises to help with the pain? My dad suffers from fibromyalgia ...

Neck/ back pain won't let me sleep its so bad. Have not had any pain meds for 3 weeks and that was only 20 5/325s. Help Please as AZ is a challenge these days ## Hello, Mat! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require pain medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. Do you have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest way of finding the help you need. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I'm looking for a pain doctor in Burlington Vermont. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and rheumatoid arthritis. The doctors just give me gabapentin which does nothing for the nerve pain. ## Hello, I don't live in your area but I can at least give you a link to a website that lists all the doctors in your area and from there you might find one that works best for you. [1] Pain Management Specialists near Burlington, VT I hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if none of these doctors work out for you and I can help you expand the search and find some doctors who might be further away but work better for you. ## I have been to Dr. Pino twice and he just gives the spinal inj's., all of the pain clinics around here just do that. I am looking into changing pain management doctors. I've been on pain management over 8 yrs. My original one stopped doing pain mgmt last year & it took forever to find one to take my case. Now, i'm starting to question him & would like to know if anyone has any recommendations. I'm taking 40MG of OXYCODONE a day & 100MCG Fentanyl patch, plus Methocarbamol. Those are the "main" ones. Any help would be really appreciated! ## Pow dr dropped me over a U/A for alcohol. I'm so tired of the war over meds or medical marijuana. I just got rocked by my dr. Now I'm in search of a new dr who may help in Colorado Springs; even a cash dr till my referral from my primary care dr gets into the system.

I am relocating from Maui to Las Vegas, summerfield area. I would so appreciate anyone who could recommed a Chronic Pain Doctor who is not afraid to medicate you properly. Most chronic pain patients know what I have been through with Dr.'s who hassle, disrespect and treat you as though you are just a drug addict when truely, without our medications, life is unbearable. Someone rear ended me and broke my back 13 years ago and have had chronic pain ever since. I recently also had nuerosurgery on my neck, (C3) because my spine is deteriorating. I now have another area of pain from that. My Maui Dr. was wonderful, a caring man who really understands and cares about providing the proper medication to give you the best quality of life you can have. I currently take 3 30mg morphine, 6 to 8...

Xavier Aviles, M.D. 25 Birch Street Jersey City, New Jersey 07305 I don't know whether or not a pain management doctor would prescribe Xanax, as that is all based on their discretion. Are there any doctors in or near the Columbus, Georgia area that prescribe Methadone & Oxycodone for pain management from injuries and surgery from auto accident over 6 years ago? ## Hello, Ann! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. If you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, due to the regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. However, I cannot speak as to whether or not they will necessarily prescribe these or any medications, since that is entirely up to the doctor.
