Looking for pain clinic in Nashville area to go to. Clinic I go to now shut down last month and I got records to back me up, I take oxycodone 30mg 4x and oxymorphone 15mg er 3x...I need to find a clinic by first of month. I found one place but they do something called PPPFD monitoring, which I have no problem with pill counts. And I am cash pay no insurance, fighting disability, just had leg amputated, and will have other limb amputated once disability goes through...please help ## I hope you have found a place. There are quite a few places right in nashville just from a quick google search I found a pain management clinic with quite a few MDs and NP. Pretty sure they use that counting thing.

I live in Sioux Falls SD and I am trying to find a doctor that will prescribe pain meds. I had a pain management doctor that prescribed 4 10 mg hydrocodones a day, but moved to Nevada. Now I have moved back and she is full and can’t see me. I have arthritis, spinal stenosis, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disorder and a spinal fusion. My doctor keeps sending me in for epidurals for my lower back, and they sometimes work for two or three months, but it doesn’t help with the pain every where else. I work 10 hour days and barely make it through. I need to find a doc in ky that can help me with my pain. I've been going for years now and they decided to take me off my meds. The doctors want to give me shots in my back and I don't want that. I have been on large doses of opioid pain medicine for 8 years. My conditions require it for me to walk and do anything out of bed. Now they are stopping it. I'm not ready to lay down the last couple years of my life, I want to spend it standing. Opioids have been used over 4000 years and a very smart Indian rheumatologist told me they have killed less people than most of the man made pharmaceuticals. I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. I have already had 2 back surgeries as well as numerous IV's and still with no relief. I have degenerative disc disease, 3 herniated discs and one completely gone. I'm in constant pain and nothing helps. I was seeing a doctor that was prescribing 90-180 oxycodone 30mg for almost a year until one day he up and closed his practice with no notice. I have always taken my medication AS PRESCRIBED but still no doctor will prescribe anything stronger then 800mg Motrin or just want me to have more surgery. i need a doctor who prescribes methadone in philadelphia ## It may help if you provide a little more information, such as why you need the doctor, if it is for pain management or addiction treatment. Not all doctors do both. Can you be more specific, since you remain anonymous on here? Methadone is very potent narcotic and can cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

My dr in Mont., AL has been prescribing me 3 80mg oxycontin for several years. My visit last week he refilled my script and said it could be the last because he was told there was diversion possibly coming from his practice. Btw that was 3 a day. If he doesn't refill my script on my next visit, I need to find a Dr. quick. Is it legal not to wean a patient off? Dr Morris Scherlis is my anesthesiologist and he is great. My only issue with them really is that for office visits I have to see one of his two staff members and the guy(Greg) is kind of an ass. Sorta condescending and suspicious of patients it seems. Also, I have a few other issues besides my back/sciatic pain and I was on several different meds for it including Ativan for anxiety/stress and ambien for sleeping problems due to my pain...I've weaned myself off both of them in the past year and done the same with my muscle relaxers. I am looking for a new doctor one that will preferrably help my chronic lower back pain issue i have suffered for the past 15 years. The past few years i was prescibed oxycoton and oxycodon which must admit worked wonderful but my doctor has decided she no longer wants to prescribe the medication and has discontinued my care...long story. I am very sorry that you're in pain. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require pain medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. Do you have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest way of finding the help you need. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I am looking into changing pain management doctors. I've been on pain management over 8 yrs. My original one stopped doing pain mgmt last year & it took forever to find one to take my case. Now, i'm starting to question him & would like to know if anyone has any recommendations. I'm taking 40MG of OXYCODONE a day & 100MCG Fentanyl patch, plus Methocarbamol. Those are the "main" ones. I am relocating from Maui to Las Vegas, summerfield area. I would so appreciate anyone who could recommed a Chronic Pain Doctor who is not afraid to medicate you properly. Most chronic pain patients know what I have been through with Dr.'s who hassle, disrespect and treat you as though you are just a drug addict when truely, without our medications, life is unbearable.
