My father in law had a bypass about 6 years ago. He then developed colon cancer. He went for the op and is now cancer free. He was told however to take Pantacid 20. After the 1st month the Dr just continued giving it to him. He now gets weak regularly and has to be hospitalised for blood transfusion. They do scans and diagnostics, but can't find anything. He also finds it difficult to eat, has the runs, passes lots of gas. Pls can someone help by telling me if he should stop or what we can do. I have COPD. I was prescribed Pantodac 20. I didn't find any warnings regarding it and COPD, but you should check with your doctor, or pharmacist to be certain that it's safe for you to take. I worked in alot of factories in my teens so i started getting RSI along with back ache. So naturally i went to gp who prescribed me co-proxomol and along with each dose take two paracetamols. So after a good few years later, they discontinued co-proxamol due to somebody taking an accidental overdose so that left me stumped.
