They do not work and I get extra headaches from this pill/brand. I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS with Mallinckrodt but these suck. ## @jojo, Sorry to hear about your troubling experience with KVK Tech. According to a number of threads I’ve seen here on this site, KVK Tech is being widely regarded as one those Oxycodone manufacturers that people should steer clear of, since their tablets aren’t providing anywhere near the amount of relief as other brands/generics. However, if Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is what works best for you, I would just encourage you to ask your doctor to specifically write that down on your prescription, based on it’s proven track record to help manage your level of pain. These pills are poisonous beware. I've taken oxycodone 20 mg from manufacturer Rhodes, Purdue company for 4 year's. Last month I got KVK-TECH from Sam's Club. The do NOT KILL PAIN AT ALL..... they give you a real euphoric feeling for 10 minutes but absolutely no pain relief. July 2016 was the worst month of my life for my chronic pain. Regarding KVK Tech oxycodone 30mg / K-9...Garbage! I have serious pain from two separate problems. Bottom line is Walgreens switched from Activis to KVK recently and I noticed the difference within one day, pain waking me more than usual and early withdrawal sensations. I was taking activis 30mg IR for a long time. It worked really well on pain with minimal narcotic effect. Now they only have KVK brand oxycodone. This is by far the worst medication for pain I have ever had. It has a strong long lasting narcotic effect with no pain relief at all. I'm taking it back to my Dr and getting a new perscription. Or immediate release? ## There are no generic formulations available of Oxycontin, there are only generics available of the instant release and the regular release. Additionally, the instant release is only available in 5mg capsules. Hey how's it going to all you guys I have been doing a little bit of reading and I just had some simple questions that I hope you guys can help me with. I've been on 30mg oxycodone for 10years one month I filled my RX & they were a different brand, they were KVT Tech. The entire month I had no pain relief! I was in so much pain! The next month I got actavis the brand I've always taken & it was night & day! A complete difference I finally got pain relief! My pharmacy just refilled my oxycodone 30mg Rx with kvk tech instead of Caraco mfg. They look the same and have the same 224 imprint. This tablet is from Canada and contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone. A generic for Percocet, this is a narcotic pain reliever. What other pharmaceuticals make oxycodone 10mg IR besides kvk tech and the ones that have "NP and 12" on the sides. I get headaches as a side effect from these and I'm assuming it's bc of the fillers. I didn't have problems when I used to get 5mg bc there seemed to be more options. David was mentioning the binders/fillers that are used in the oxycodone. I believe that the binders/fillers are why I am having such a problem with any oxycodone manufactured by KVK Tech. I have gotten bladder infections (no history of this problem), head aches, no pain relief (Major issue, cause what is a pain pill for?), attitude issues that are unreal.
