has anyone had fake oxycodone? My brother is a dealer and it looks almost perfect as the real thing but it is not. I saw it and you have to have a good eye. Be careful. I got a prescription for oxycodone 5mg/5ml solution 1800ml total I am confused on how much is actually in the bottle . I understand that 5ml is equal to one percocet 5mg pill but on the bottle on the side of it it only goes up 300ml so if it has a quantity of 1800ml of formula in it how much is actually in a ml, mabye I am confused any info is greatly appreciated I have talk ed to the pharmacy but I am still confused. Hey forum members! I have read on this website a lot o er the past 5 years but now I am finally writing my own post ...Well let me start by saying I broke my tailbone 5 years ago (when I was 18) and it took a whole year of getting xrays (with no diagnosis because they could not see the fracture) , until they ordered me and MRI which did in fact show the fracture! Is oxycontin and Percocet the same thing except without the tylenol ## Yeah. It's usually extended release instead of the percocet, which is immediate release. I just took a 10mg percocet at about 8am. I'm out of them now, but I have two 5mg oxycodone k|18 pills. Can I take 2 of those to equal one 10mg??? ## It won't be exactly equal, since the K18 tablets only contain Oxycodone, but lack the Acetaminophen that is in Percocet, but you can do so, if your doctor approves. I am a 20 year chronic pain sufferer who every 3 years or so has to detox off 180-240 mg Oxycodone to lower tolerance. Then I start back on 4-6 Percocet a day and gradually increase dosage as needed. I usually always took a different brand of percocet 5/325. My new dr called my script into Walgreens (usually i went thru hy-vee). I have been taking the Actavis brand since 4/18/16. I went yesterday to my dr. She evaluated my urine to check the opioid level. I got a call this morning from her- there is NO OPIOID in my system at all! I have been taking percocet for years due to a bad auto accident years ago. I took the pills to Walgreens, she would call dr and call me. She did-tried to tell me i hadn't been taking them! Hi i have been on the 50mcg patch for 2 months now and the provide much more relief than the mscontin 30mg did. I also get 180 10/325 percosets a month for breakthrough but am worried about my liver because of all th tylenol. I am going to talk to my doc about switching to a 10 or 15 roxi to give me some peace of mind im only 39 and have had 2 fusions done L4-L5 and L5-S1 if any one can give me any advice on something that might help better id appreciate it Thank You. ## The Roxicodone is an option, if your doctor agrees, because it is just the Oxycodone in a regular release formulation and doesn't have any Acetaminophen. My primary dr has me on 10 mg percocet, 2 every 4 hrs for chronic/severe leg pain but it has lost it's effectiveness. I have appt w/pain mgt clinic on the 18th for the 1st time and am hoping they rx something stronger & definitely something that lasts longer. I haven't slept a full night in almost 2 years due to waking up in pain, taking meds, waiting for them to kick in and waiting to fall asleep again. She's actually not obligated to prescribe you anything and due to the new regulations, unless you have a terminal condition, such as late stage cancer, there are limits as to how much you can be prescribed, so she couldn't keep writing for 180 of the Dilaudid. Over the past forty years I have been taking oxycodone and valium for different lengths of time, different health issues, and manufactured by many different pharm companies. Until the 1990s the brand names were affordable; $20. for 100 Tylenol #4s, $25. for 100 Percocet 5s. When the drug prices went sky high, generic versions flooded the market, $75. for 100 Miltowns vs. $5. for 100 generic meprobamates; but for every two Miltowns I was used to taking, to get the same physical effect (mild sedation) from the generic version I had to take three times as many.
