I've had severe chronic pain for years. Pain dr. Gave me 7.5/325 hydrocodone. I have hep c and chronic anemia. I don't want either tylenol or Ib.. what can I ask for that has none of those and is stronger? Would a fentanyl patch work? ## Hello, Andrea! How are you feeling? Fentanyl is the strongest narcotic available, so it may not be wise to jump straight to it, because that's not going to leave you anywhere to go in the future, once you build up a tolerance. One would be Oxycodone, which is available in instant release, regular release and time released formulations. Learn more Oxycodone details here. There's also Morphine, Dilaudid and Opana. Hi was prescribe both and my pain is pretty low now and I just want to take the lesser of the two when needed. Thank you ## Hello, Dede! How are you feeling? The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen 5/325 is the strongest, since the Oxycodone is an opiate narcotic. Ibuprofen, as classified by the FDA, is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Ibuprofen may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The oxycodone is a very strong narcotic for moderate to severe pain. The ibuprophen is very mild and is also over the counter at ...

would this be classified as oxycontin ? they are small pink pill--19mg ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so the equivalent without the Acetaminophen would be Roxicodone. OxyContin is a time released formulation. Additionally, there is no 19mg tablet. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? ## Oxycontin is simply an extended release version of Oxycodone. Without Acetaminophen though, Percocet would just be Oxycodone (immediate release). Is there an imprint on the pill you are describing? I may be able to look it up for you to provide you with more details such as dosage, manufacturer, etc. I hope this helps! ## I just had a c section 4days ago and my obgyn prescribed me percocet 10-325 and ibuprofen 800mgs. Does this pill have Ibuprofen in it? ## Hello, Angela! How are you? No, the tablet with the A349 marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## How potent are the 5mg oxycodone ? How many should you take at one time to feel the affects ? ## Are these the white round tablets with a 349 on one side and nothing on the other side?

Can you take ibupropion while taking oxycod/APAP 5-325 MG? I had a lung removed last month, and I feel that maybe if I had an inflamatory med, I wouldn't be in so much pain all the time. They also or "someone" nicked my bowel, and now I am with colostomy. Any answers, please??? ## The medication you mentioned contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, and while the Acetaminophen isn't considered an NSAID, it's generally not a good idea to mix them, without consulting your doctor, first. Combining it with the Ibuprofen could lead to increased risk of stomach ulceration and bleeding. Have you contacted your doctor about what is safe for you to use?

I have been on these for 12 to about 15 years now and for the past couple years now they don't seem to ease my pain any. I also take 800mg ibuprofen with something to protect ur stomach. I've only been on them 2/3 years. I'm sure my body laughs at me when i take the 10/325. Is there something close without taking acetaminophen? I'm 50 and i have taken acetaminophen forever. I'm afraid one day it will mess up my liver. I'm not a heavy drinker. Please help so i can talk with my doctor. Thank you. ## There are quite a few other medications available without Acetaminophen, such as Zohydro, Oxycodone, Morphine, Opana, and Dilaudid. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache...

I am disabled in NE Florida and have been on a pain management regime for about 12 years now. I am currently prescribed and using two differing pain medications in this ongoing he'll of trying to stay ahead of the often unbearable pain. I take Morphine every 12 hours-ALWAYS, and Percocet when needed for the stingy pain days. I also down Ibuprofen like it's candy. Because of this, my stomach has become SEVERELY intolerant of it lately when I have to take the Percocet for breakthrough pain. My physician has attributed this to too much Acetaminophen given that it is added to the fact that I already take so much Ibuprofen as well regularly. He switched my breakthrough med from Percocet (10/325) to Oxycodone 5mg I capsules since it'll cut down on my Acetaminophen intake immensely...

I'm taking a 10 panel drug screen for nursing school, but recently had 2 surgeries and intestinal issues. Will any of my medications affect my drug screen and if so how long should I wait to do the test? I haven't taken any in almost a week but I am prescribed these medications: Dicyclomine Hcl 20 mg tab Myla (took 12/19/16) Hyoscyamine Sulfate 0.125 mg Sub Acel (haven't taken in over a week) Percocet acetaminophen/oxycodone Hy 325/5mg (haven't taken in over 2 weeks) Ibuprofen 800 Mg Tab Majo (took 12/19/16) Citalopram 20 mg (take every night) Will any of these (Percocet is obvious) make me fail my 10 panel? If so which ones? How long to flush them out of my system? Even with my script I can't have them for school purposes.
