What is the difference between roxicodone and oxycodone ? ## From what I understand, Roxicodone and Oxycodone are both the exact same medication. The only difference you might find would probably be in the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that different manufacturers use in their tablets. I think the real confusion sets in when people start discussing Percocet (which is sometimes partially labeled as Oxycodone). However, it also contains Acetaminophen; the differentiating factor between those two meds. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxycodone Details I hope this info helps to answer your question! ## Will oxycodone and roxicet be metabolized the same in the body?....thats all i NEED to know

Is this the same as taking Percocet yellow oblong pill one dide says percocet the other says 10/325 are they as strong? ## Hello, Kim! How are you? Yes, it is just a generic version of it. There can be slight fluctuations, as permitted under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, but the only way to see if helps you is by trying them. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is the nickname for U17 known also as a substitute for Percocets or is it's nickname known as substitute for Roxycet. Are there any variances ## They actually aren't nicknames, there are brand names and generic names. The brand name is a trade name given by the original manufacturer of a medication, and the generic name is the list of the actual ingredients. The generic name for Percocet is Oxycodone with APAP (Acetaminophen) and the generic name for Roxicet would just be Oxycodone, so yes, they are different. The tablet with the U17 marking is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of APAP (Acetaminophen), so it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may caus...

I saw on here the difference between Endocet and oxycodone or Percocet. Well I have had scripts for both. If I could get Endocet I would take it over ANY other pain pill out there. I don't like to feel the rush of my meds. Then I enjoy them. I like to feel that my meds are working. There's a difference. I am basically allergic to everything but Endocet dilaudid and oxycodone. Norco...Now a question. Saying this and I have taken them all at one time or another. Is oxycontin and oxycodone the same pill? I read on Google it is. It's the way they explain to people. However if I ask my doctor or pharmacist, no it's different - one is man made. The other is like perc. So I'm lost... Can anyone tell me... Thanks... ## Oxycodone is the active ingredient in Oxycontin, so what...

I am having a mri tomorrow ......I am very claustrophobic so dr gave me a Valium RX....to relax me.....I am wondering is my Oxycodone RX would work better for relaxing me please help ## Sorry late reply but my Dr had me on both. Hope went well. ## @Sissy, Because these types of medications affect each person differently, there's really no telling how you'll end up responding to Oxycodone (a potent pain reliever) for the added purpose of "relaxation" - especially since that's not what it's specifically indicated/marketed for. In the event that Valium isn't working, what I would probably do personally is give the Oxycodone a trial period and see how it works for me over the course of several days/weeks. Or like post #1 stated, you could also ask your doctor if ...

Are there oxycodone 15/325? I was shot and the 5/325 or 10mg oxycodone doesn't work. Any suggestions? ## No, the maximum dose available is 10/325mg. Oxycodone itself, without the accompanying Acetaminophen/Tylenol is available in higher doses, though. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actually i take oxycodone and they are straight 15.

Hi, my name is Kelly & I'm new here. I've been in PM going on 2 years now for a Spinal cord injury w/ 8 diagnosis to my spine. Started off with Percocet 5 & am now at 10-325 4xd. My Dr. is talking about switching to a stronger pain med due to me building a tolerance on the Perc 10's. I don't truly know what "pill" will be next... I hate these pills but it is reality. I am on several other meds as well. My question today is~ the brand of Percocet I have been getting from the only Pharmacy I've ever gone to are the U17's. Can anyone give their opinion- if they have had this specific "brand"? Before I give mine, I would love to hear what others have to say regarding this brand. I know there are so many brands out there & Watson, I think d...

I have been taking Amneil 10-325 oxycodone for 4 yrs and found it very effective and now my pharmacist said he no longer order this and has given me Rhodes replacement which makes me very tired, nauseated and not as strong. I would. like to know if any other stores carry this brand? I saw Amneil has merged with Inpax and will Amneil ever be available again at Rite Aid or any other drug stores? ## In most cases, your pharmacist does not get to pick which manufacturer's product they carry, they usually have a distributor that they deal with, so when they reorder, they are provided with whatever company was offering the cheapest price at that time. Thus, there is no way to know which one any given pharmacy might carry. The only thing you can do it go to them, with your prescription in ...

On 4/12/17, I received my monthly script of Oxycodone from Walgreens, from Mfg. Actavis as Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325MG TB. The medication did not dull my pain as usual, but continued to use and began to feel very ill, vomiting and having diarrhea, ending up in the hospital for four days, during which I lost all my strength and needed Physical Therapy for three months and I am still having to use a walker. There was never a diagnosis of the cause of my hospitalization, but now I know that after I had not used the medication for a period of three months and now needed pain relief again, that after ll days of use, I was experiencing the same thing that had put me in the hospital in the first place, the Actavis Oxycodone! There is a problem with Actavis and they should be investigated....

Walmart has been getting the green 10/325 oxycodone is there any difference from the oblong white 10/325? I have been getting those at Walmart and now they have changed it. ## Hello, Patti! How are you? When a medication is available as a generic, it is usually manufactured by several different companies, the FDA has done this to try to create market competition to help keep prices down. As a result, which one your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. Without knowing the markings on it, I can only theorize, but my best guess is that they have just been manufactured by a different company. However, if you post back with the markings, I will be happy to double check for you to be sure. T...

I have been on Tylox, dilaudid, and Extended Release Hydricodone and Exteneed Release Opana for many years due to an MVA, resulting in severe injuries that were not properly repaired. I have what is considered "failed surgery syndrone. Since Pamela Bondie went after "Pill Mills", people like me, who have never created a crime, never injured or stolen anything from anyone, have difficulty getting their prescribed prescriptions. I was once told by the new pharmacist where I have received my prescriptions for 8 years tell she fill this "first" prescription" but never again. I've read a lot of the messages but didn't find one referring to what I got this month. Its mfg is Alvog round off white maybe a light yellow pill with a symbol on one side and 230 on the other side. Why are so many changing and am I in for more nausea from these ? Thanks ## Hello, Patricia! How are you? It's just a different manufacturer, since this is a generic. Whichever your pharmacy has in stock at any time can vary depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. However, all are approved by FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hi, I've never looked for help on the internet regarding my medication, but I'm at a loss. I'm a 46-year-old, healthy, strong and fit female. Three years ago I was pushed from the top of a 4-story building, falling 80 feet. Subsequently, I still suffer from severe, chronic back pain. I take Oxycodone 10/325 every 4 to 6 hours to help manage my pain. When I last filled my prescription, 3 days ago, I noted that I am getting zero relief. I never take more than one pill in a four hour period. But that first day I took 4 pills within 6 hours and still didn't have relief. I called the pharmacy to see if the manufacturer had changed and she informed me that it had not. In fact I looked at the pills and they looked identical to the pills I got the month before. I don't think...

I was in a horrible accident. My Dr. Put me on Dillaudid 4 mg. After a half month I cut myself down to Dilaudid 2 mg. When that was gone, my Dr. Put me on Oxycodone 10, to keep down withdrawals. I've been on these for approx. 2 weeks. Is it safe to now cut my dose down, and how should I go about it? I DON'T WANT OR NEED THE WITHDRAWAL. ## It is not a time released medication, so as long as your doctor approves, you should be able to cut the pills to gradually reduce your dosage. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? ## If you have only been taking opiates (as prescribed) for about a month, and onl...

I read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. I did and I got the ALVOGEN Pill Yellow 230 and the same thing. it worked a little better but...

Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. I find the yellow circles with C230 are best besides the pink roxies or endocets. ## Yes the ingredients didn't make me sick, but I got zero relief w a 333, I'd give the rp a 6 /10, the Alvogen are 8/10, ... but I was in s. Fl I haven't seen the rp s sincemid 2016 ## According to the FDA, the inactive ingredients in these RP 10 325 pills by Rhodes are as follows: pregelatinized corn starch crospovidone povidone magnesium stearate colloidal silicon dioxide stearic acid Something else to keep in mind upon comparison with other ta...
