I have some A 51 30 mg oxycodones and noticed that they turn a yellow/green when damp. I know one of the inactive ingredients is D&C yellow #10 so that may be the cause, but I wanted to check to see if anyone else has noticed the same thing and make sure that it is normal. Thanks for any help in advance. ## I spilled a little water on 1 of my A 51's and it changed color too. Is there a reason this happens? ## Hello, Mike and Jen! How are you both? Moisture can affect the shade, color and tone of virtually anything, including pills. Depending on the specific type of water, you may see different colors at different times, due to small chemical reactions. For instance, you may see a different color from tap water, than from purified water, since there are chemicals in the tap water...

I need to know if oxycodone (manufacturer QLT) is gluten and soy free. ## Hi Bella, According to nih.gov, oxycodone made by QLT Pharmaceuticals has been reported to contain the following set of inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose povidone sodium starch glycolate stearic acid NOTE: the 15 and 30mg tablets also have yellow and/or blue dye. Most of those ingredients seem fine in terms of not being associated with gluten or soy. However an article by medicine.virginia.edu states that "sodium starch glycolate" is a type of starch that's usually obtained from a potato, BUT drug companies may take it from any starch source (including those with gluten) - so you may have to speak with the manufacturer directly in order to find out ...

I just hope I am not at the end of the rope on dosage? ## No, you are actually nowhere near the end of the possible dosing for Oxycodone. The maximum dosage that anyone can be given in a day is actually 1,600mgs or 1.6grams, currently, you are only at 240mgs daily. The caveat, however, is that you can't just jump to that high of a ...

I would not advise taking an unknown medicatio...

I would like to view an oxycodone 30marked k 35. ## Hi Wes, From what I'm seeing online there doesn't appear to be an Oxycodone tablet with K 35 as an imprint, let alone 30mgs. The closest looking Oxycodone 30mg pill I found is round and blue with a marking of K | 9. It's also made by a company called KVK Tech; who would subsequently or seemingly be the maker of any similarly marked Oxycodone pills; however, there are none fit that description which leads me to believe that the marking was possibly misinterpreted based on a counterfeit/foreign/or different type of medication altogether. NOTE: There's also a round yellow over-the-counter pill with a K 35 marking that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (194mg) + Aspirin (227mg) + Caffeine (32mg). Any chance this cou...

I recently received some roxycodone's 30mg from India and they don't look anything like original blue 30mg roxies.. They look like maybe watson 10/500 hydro/apap or maybe 7.5 hydro/apap with lots of filler.. What was strange is the sealed packaging actually says roxycodone and describes the little blue pill with the 54 199 imprint used to identify the roxy's. These don't have any imprint on them. I'm sure they're not real or maybe some other sort of pill, but I'm very curious to see what the picture database pulls them up as (if anything as they're generic yellow looking capsules, but I also have the 10-pack packaging that claims there roxy's they were sealed in for reference as well. ## India has different marking rules than the FDA here in the US. Found a blue pill, marked N over 23... Cannot locate what this is on any website...was told is was oxycodone 30mg but I believe it could be OTC ibuprofen...any help would be appreciated. ## Right - these pills are most likely Oxycodone 30 mg manufactured by Novel Labs (NDC 40032-431) - they are described as round, blue with imprint n 23. Inactive Ingredients: - Microcrystalline Cellulose - Silicon Dioxide - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - D&C Yellow No. 10 - FD&C Blue No. 2 - Magnesium Stearate ## It's definitely not listed as being a marking used in the U.S. on any Oxycodone tablet, nor any other prescription medication. I am leaning towards siding with you that it is most likely an over the counter product and the blue color makes me wonder if it might be something...

Actavis does list these tablets as containing 30mgs of Morphine in an extended release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I was also prescribed the yellow 271 30mg and they don't seem to work as well as the purple 30mg ones I was getting. These ones I can barely feel. So lately I've been seeing A LOT of people saying how they have changed the strength and color and pharmaceutical brand of their 10mg Percocet from the good yellow ones that worked great to now these white ones that are pure garbage! Luckily I don't get those I get oxycodone 30mg IR and oxymorphone 30mg ER witch have yet to be tampered with. Yes I know it's only a matter of time before they get to changing those to. Although I have been hearing about them supposedly changing them 7yrs ago to be tamper proof from my pain doctor and so far thank GOD they haven't touched those yet. The government is putting pressure on the Pharmaceutical companies and or are in bed with them to change the formula to make them weaker and or not work at all even as far as a placebo. They thin...
