the doctor i was going to had his license revoked so does anyone know of a good pain management doctor i could go to that will prescribe me my 30 mg oxycodone ## Do you happen to know why his license was revoked? There has to be some serious reason for that to have occurred and, depending on the reason(s), it could create some problems for you in pursuing treatment. For example, if they felt that the doctor was over prescribing, or prescribing controlled substances inappropriately, you may find yourself needing to undergo a lot of medical reviews from one or more other doctors, before someone will prescribe anything for you. I have been going to a Dr. for pain medication I have had several surgeries, I have Disc Disease, list goes on. He had me on oxycontin 80 mg and oxycodone 30mg. Over the course of the years I was put on a very large quantity. Every dr. I call tells me to go to detox. There's a problem there are no beds opened in AZ. and I need to be on Pain medication to be able to wk. I am willing to switch I just need a dr. that will even see me. My previous doctor is no longer practicing and I have been a CPP for more than 20 years. For the last 7, I was prescribed 2-80 mg Oxycontin ER twice a day and 30 mg oxycodone every 6 hours for breakthrough pain. I have not been able to find a doctor who accepts my insurance, most want cash and the visits are sky high-which I wouldn't mind if I was getting prescribed a long-acting and short-acting pain medicine.
