i forget taking ecospirin 150 after lunch. is it ok if i take it any other time ## Ecosprin just contains Aspirin and in many cases it is used as a blood thinner in these lower dosages. That said, there is no particular time of day that it has to be taken, so there really shouldn't be any problem if you switch it to another time that's easier for you to remember to take it. Learn more Ecosprin details here. If you're on the once a day dosing, then you should just make sure not to take them any closer than 24 hours apart. So, if you want to take one later in the day, then taking your next dose 30 hours away from the last one would be safer than taking them just six hours apart. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Can i take 20-30 tablets of ecospirin 150mg perday

My name is Naeem. I'm non-diabetic but I'm taking Ecosprin 150mg (two tablets daily) to reduce some blockage in my arteries. I'm 53 years old. Please advise me as to whether it is safe or risky to take high doses? ## This medication is used to help thin the blood, improve heart health, and lower cholesterol levels in the blood. You should take the dosage prescribed by your doctor. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. There may be some risks associated with taking it, such as the bleeding, and stomach issues, but they aren't anything to worry about, as long as you don't exceed the prescribed doses. How are you doing? Are you on any other medications?

Hello, My father, a diabetic from last 10 years, suffered from a heart attack 2 months back and had an angioplasty done with 2 stents implanted. He has been prescribed medicines such as Aspirin (Ecosprin-AV 150 ) and Clopidogrel (clopilet 75) among others. After taking these medicines for 2 months, he suffered from extreme gastrointestinal bleeding and had to be hospitalized under ICU care and was also administered 6 bottles of blood. Now he is fine, but it is known that the main undesirable side effects of aspirin are gastrointestinal bleeding, stomach bleeding, etc especially in higher doses. My doctor tells me that it is necessary to continue with the aspirin for the sake of stents implanted. I am afraid that continuing with this medicine may cause another bout of stomach/gasto-intes...

my mom just did an angioplasty her doc prescribed her to take clopilet 75 mg 2 dose and ecosprin 150 mg 1 dose in a day bt she mistakenly took ecosprin 2 dose and also she took clopilet 2 hrs after taking ecosprin is there any risk ? ## Ecospin just contains Aspirin and there isn't a great risk of harm if she just took two in one day, but she should be extra careful and if she notices any signs of possible bleeding, such as vomiting blood, or black tarry stools, she should seek medical attention. Learn more Ecosprin details here. Learn more Clopilet details here. She should tell her doctor about it, just to be on the safe side though. Has she called her doctor yet?
