Hi I am responding to the usually blue but now its white10 mg lortab Watson540 . Just want to let the skeptics know they are taking the blue dye out of them because it is poisonous to some patients my pharmacy advised me last month when my script changed ## Hi pooty, Thanks for taking the time to give us all a heads up on this! For anyone wondering, here is a list of the inactive ingredients in each (blue) Watson 540 tablet: croscarmellose sodium crospovidone magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose povidone starch stearic acid FD&C Blue #2 Aluminum Lake Removing the 'blue dye' alone could significantly affect how the drug is absorbed into your system; including what side effects you might be more prone to experience, compared to someone else who may react differently t...

I have never heard of this pill before, and it was in my daughters room. What is it? I have been told it is generic for Vicodin 1000 mg. Is this true? How do I keep her from getting them? ## This tablet contains Acetaminophen 500 mg + Hydrocodone Bitartrate 10 mg (NDC 0591-0540). Inactive Ingredients: - Croscarmellose Sodium - Crospovidone - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Povidones - Starch, Corn - Stearic Acid - Aluminum Oxide - Fd&c Blue No. 2 Unfortunately you can purchase many drugs online, so she could be getting them from there. Or maybe she is getting them somewhere else. You could take her to the doctors every month for a random test, that way she can't hide it. Have you talked to her about it? There are support groups to help with this situation. ##...

Found.. White pill imprint Watson 540.. 10 Mg...? Usually they are blue:10mg/500 hydrocodone/acephatamine Different color same imprint? Same thing or not? Usually they have different imprints or why change color..? ## It's interesting you mentioned that because "most" of the images I found have been oval blue pills. I did however come across a legitimate photo of the one you're describing (elliptical, white, imprinted with WATSON 540) at: rxlist.com/vicodin-hp-drug/patient-images-side-effects.htm NOTE: the dosage of the white pill is confirmed to be the same as the blue pill (500mgs of Acetaminophen + 10mgs of Hydrocodone). Manufacturer: Watson Laboratories, Inc. Although the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, it would definite...

White oval pill imprinted: 44-175 Contents: Acetaminophen 500mg National Drug Code: 50844-175 Product Labeler: L.n.k. International, Inc. Pill Size: 18mm Inactive Ingredients: -Hypromelloses -Povidones -Stearic Acid -Castor Oil -Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato ## Found white oblong pills with 44 175 imprinted on one side. They were in a bottle which identified them as Hydrocodone 10/500mg. And described on the bottle as an Oval Blue tablet with Watson on one side and 540 on the other. Is this likely a pharmacy error or is this likely a situation of someone switching out the pills? My daughter who has been treated for Vicodin addiction in the past and lives at home would have had access to this. ## Look mom, we both know the answer to this one....your daughter swtiched the pills. ...

are the yellow tabs stronger than the blue tabs?? ## The oval, blue tablet marked Watson 540 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The yellow, oval marked Watson 853 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, since the Acetaminophen tends to improve how well the narcotic Hydrocodone works, the blue tablet would be stronger. This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions? ## I have taken Vicodin HP's they are oval and white -- I recently got some oval blue pills that say watson 540 on one side and a line on the other....I was told they are the same yet I do not get the same reaction --- can someone pls explain who is Viodan and who is Watson??? are eithe...

I can't remember which one of my meds is the Lortab and which is the Hydrocodone. One is an oval blue pill that says Watson 540 and the other is white and says M363. Can anyone help me? ## Hi Kim. The blue pill (Watson 540) is lortab, and the white one with M363 is 10mg of hydrocodone. Both pills are essentially the same. They both contain 10mg of generic hydrocodone and 500mg of acetaminaphin (tylenol). I hope this helps you! ## The M363 is 10mg hydrocodone with 500 mg acetaminaphine. It is manufactured by the company Mallinckrodt. I was getting this at Wal-Mart pharmacy. Maybe its just pscychological but it seemed to me the Watson generic worked much better. Thats the blue oval Watson 540 you mentioned . Its also 10 mg hydrocodone & 500 mg acetaminaphine. I changed pharmacies ...
