I'm on here looking for a solid doctor from people that have had a good experience, as my PCP keeps telling me to go see a pain management doctor. I'm looking for a doctor that still prescribes 30mg oxycodone with no problems. I have 5 years of medical records and continued proof of taking oxycodone but can only get 15mg which isn't enough to make my pain go away. Please help me asap! Thanks {edited for privacy} ## Hello, Rob! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Technically, any doctor with their license to practice medicine could prescribe it, but there's no way to be certain they will, even if they are a pain management specialist. The only thing you can do is set ...

I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in locating pain management doctors within your general area. I dont have insurance so i cant afford the expensive pain management clinics here. I need a doctor who will write my rx for 20mg oxycodone or other things i need without the usual uptight doctor response of "only once, go to pain management". I've had 34 ortho surgeries and have constant mind bending pain. I take as directed. Just need what used to be known as a "dr. feelgood". Portland, Oregon ## Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask...

Due to the new WA state laws, I have been taken off Oxy 10s and put on Buprenorphine which is not working. Need to find a doctor in Oregon. I currently live in Seattle. ## If you live in WA and have a WA identification, then a doctor in Oregon isn't going to be able to prescribe you a controlled substance, either. The same laws have been put in effect throughout the U.S., not just in WA. If you require something such as Oxycodone for long-term pain treatment, except for in rare cases, you'll have to see a pain management specialist for treatment. There are new restrictions on what any general practice doctor or surgeon can prescribe. Learn more Buprenorphine details here. What type of doctor have you been seeing? ## I was a CA resident, moved to OR and WA and neither state physi...

I have been on sever chronic pain meds for almost 14 years. upon moving to Oregon I discovered I had to get a new doctor. After several attempts with several doctors i am now with a pain management specialists, Covallis pain and spine. However, they have denied interest in keeping my meds anywhere close to where they have been for the past 13 years. I am not a doctor, I have however done everything I know to do to try to explain that what they are doing is only making my pain and my life more difficult to live with. I am not a drug seeker or an addict. I hate having to take drugs to have a shot at having some semblance of a "normal" life. But after having to endure so much for so long I am very close to throwing in the towel. I have been taking oxycodone, methadone and corisapro...
