Plain orange oblong tablet. No marking ## Hello, Pecos! How are you? If there is are no markings on the tablet then they are not Hydrocodone, which the FDA classifies as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. All prescription drug products in the U.S. are required by law to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Something that has no markings is most likely an over the counter product, of some type. Where was it found? ## Oblong Orange Scored Pill with no writing is Hydrocodone 10mg/APAP 325mg. They came out in 2016 as a way for Vertisec to produce generic drugs. ...

hydrocodone with orange specks

I read many articles claiming that the opiate portion of a Vicodin tablet is in the specks. Any truth? ## Hello, Demetria! How are you? No, it is not true. They colored specks are exactly that, just colored specks that the manufacturer used to make their pills look different than all the others on the market. How a tablet looks is entirely up to their whit and whim. The Medication, however, is dispersed throughout the entire tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. My child was prescribed hydrocodone-apap 7.5-500 soln in an orange liquid. Also on the main bottle with the label that says Cephalexin for Oral Suspension, USP (250 mg/5ml) 100 ml when mixed. And the pharmacy doctor put 2 of 3 in red marker on bottle. I'm confused. Is the orange liquid suppose to make it easier for him to swallow. ## To be honest, I'm a little confused by your post. You're talking about 2 different medications. The Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a narcotic pain reliever, though the Hydrocodone can also help treat couching and the Acetaminophen can help break a fever. The Cephalexin is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections. The color really means nothing, but most medications of this type are given to children in liquid form, sinc... ...

Hydrocodone and/or other narcotic meds..

I was just wondering if there is anyone in this forum that lives in the area of Roanake or Orange, Virginia, and if it's a problem getting narcotic medication there, genreally? I'm thinking about moving there but I need my narcotic meds and I don't want to run into problems in getting them when I do move there. Overall, is it a problem there to get prescribed narcotic medication or reatively easy being you do have a "legit" medical issue that warrants their use. I currently live in FL and the laws are changing so fast regarding getting prescription narcotic meds and pharmacies have also changed a lot of their policies in regards to filling them Any help would be appreciated. I have a bright pink pill w orange\yellow powder. It is supposed to be a very strong norco but I'm not 100% Sure what it is?? Any advice? Or help ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then that means it's going to be difficult to determine exactly what the capsule contains. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it's not available in capsules on the manufactured pharmaceutical market, it's only available as tablets. Learn more Norco details here. If it contains these ingredients and is in an unmarked capsule, it would have to be a dosing that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy….however, the color of the powder makes me doubt that, because it's usually a white or off-white substance. That is why the tablets are white, ... ...

This last prescription I got were white tablets with little green specs - one side has the letter V and the other side has 3594. I have only taken solid white tablets in the past for Hydrocodone Pills ## Hi Sandra, The one's marked V 3594 are simply made by a different manufacturer than what most people are used to seeing.
