Hi I recently started oralcon for the first time and I am on my tenth pill. I have been experiencing period-like cramping, nausea and tender breast since my 7th pill. Is this normal? ## Hello, Domino! How are you? Yes, those can be side effects and may last for the first 3 months, as your body is getting used to the medication. You may also experience headaches, irritability and breakthrough bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been using oralcon for a year now, recently I have been having itchy and painful rash on my face a week befor my period, and my period is not as normal as should be. It is thick and and very dark and only lasts for three day. ## Hello, Gugu! How are you? What does the rash look like? Do you get every month? Period changes can happen when you're taking hormonal contraceptives, some women don't have periods, at all, while on them. Have you had this checked out by your doctor? When you say thick, do you mean there are clots in it? Hold old are you? Are you on any other medications? ## Hello I'm using oralcon almost 2 weeks now ..I feel headaches everyday is it okay if I will not finish the whole pads ? I have been using oralcon f for a long time about two years. Then I had stopped for about three months. I started taking them back on my first day of my menstrual cycle again. But when it should have ended I realized that I was still spotting and it had a bad oder. I had only used 11 from the pack. I discontinued them for three days now, but the spotting it still present with a dark n bad odor. Help me please. ## Hello, Monique! How are you doing? Has there been any change? Given the odor, it seems you may have a bacterial infection, and if that is the case, you will need an antibiotic to clear it up. Have you consulted your doctor? The FDA lists the typical antbiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. ## Hey. I used Ora...

Hi, I have been using Oralcon for about a week now. My vagina is itching very badly, it is very uncomfortable. I need an alternate with no such side effects please. ## Hello, Eish! How are you? They shouldn't cause vaginal itching. That sounds more like you may have a yeast infection. You need to be seen and have it checked out to get the proper medication to clear it up. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I have been using oralcon for a week now and have been so emotional crying even for a broken nail could this be the side effect? ## im a 1st time user of althea pills. my whole body is itching. also my vagina. wht does it mean? ## Hi I'm pearl 26 y,o I used Althea phills with in one month .pro itinigil KO rin kaagad kasi during I take phills sumasakit ang tiyan KO a...

Hi there, I was on my red pills when i had unprotected intercourse with my bf which was just 4 days before my expected periods. what are the possibilities of getting pregnant when on the red pills (Oralcon)? ## Hello, Noli! How are you? Are these the ones with the 3 rows of white pills and then one week of red at the end? Some may be different in some countries, that's why I'm asking. If that is correct, those are placebo tablets and that's intended to be your period week and you wouldn't risk pregnancy that week. As long as you didn't miss taking any of your active tablets, then you were still protected. ## Ohh,alright, I was afraid that I was at risk since I've heard that the red pills have no hormones. ## can i fall pregnant while using red tablet on oralcon.a...

Hi I'm using oralcon since the beginning of this year an last week I started feeling dizzy And my mouth feels watery an I'm feeling Lil nausea an very tired. I do smoke an sister told me I shud smoke less or stop smoking cause oralcon an smoking is not a good combination. can that be the reason why I feel so sick? ## Hello, Smiley! How are you? No, not likely. Smoking on these contraceptives creates the risk of blood clots, not the symptoms you're describing. Is it possible that you've just caught a virus or something? Have you had this checked out with your physician? Are you still having these symptoms?

It is thick and and very dark and only lasts for three day. ## Hello, Gugu! How are you? Hi, i have been using Oralcon pills for almost a month now and ever since i have abdominal pains. When i take pain killers the pain goes away for few minutes and comes back again. I cant stand for more than 10min, i can't bent and i can't even sit for a long time. I really dont know what to do anymore ## Stomach upset, nausea, and pain can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports. However, if it is that severe, you may need to try a different medication. Have you informed your doctor about this issueand the pain you are experiencing? Are you on any other medications?

Good day, I've been using Oralcon for 14 days now and last night I started spotting and my bladder are painful and vagina are burning if I pee. Can you please tell me if this is normal or if I should consult my doctor??? ## Hello, Didi! How are you? The spotting can be a normal side effect of oral contraceptives, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms. The other symptoms, however, are not and it sounds like you may have an infection and, if so, it would require medical treatment, so you should have this checked out. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi.I just want to know what will happens if I vomit (5 hours) after i drink my birth control pills...must I now drink another one or must I now just wait to drink the othe...

What side effects have others experienced and how long do the side effects last for? ## Hi, Rassie! How are you? The side effects, if they occur, can start within a few days and last 2 to 3 months, since these are hormonal based contraceptives. They may include nausea, dizziness, breakthrough bleeding/spotting, headaches and weight changes. However, you may not experience any of them, some people do and some people don't. Hi, I just got my first Oralcon tablet and I'm on my second period so I don't know which tablet to take. I just want to know if you only take the red pill if you're on your period then when white if you're not? ## If you are new to taking them, you should take them in order, as prescribed, whether you are bleeding, or not. Irregular bleeding can be a side effect of the tablets, when you first start them, and should go away with time, once your body gets used to the change in your hormone levels. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have never used any contraception pills in my life. And I want to use oralcon. When do I start using it? ## You can start it, at any time. If you start it the first or second day of your period, it will be effective immediately at preventing pregnancy, however, if you start it any time after that, you will need to take it for a full week in order for it to reach it's full level of efficacy. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, and PMS-like symptoms. What instructions has your doctor provided? ## I started taking oralcon about 12 days ago. I Initially started using it because of the terrible pains i get when i have my menstrual cycle. I was on my third day of having my period when i took it. Three days ago my boyfr...

I accidentally drank my white pill while on my period (Supposed to drink red) without thinking. What do i do? just go on finishing my red pill and then start as usual whit white? will i be unsafe? ## In most cases, a doctor will just have you continue taking the rest, as you should, but it is always best to consult them to be sure. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, irregular bleeding, and PMS-like symptoms. How are you doing? Did you experience any problems? ## Hi. I have gone on the Depo injection about 3 weeks ago and have been getting me periods non stop. I was advised to drink the white Oralcon Pill for a day or 2. I have been using petogen for 3 months and I was having non-stop periods and the doctor gave me oralcon. During the week that I was taking oralcon, I was taking the pill at different times and sometimes skipped taking it. I have been intimate with my partner without the use of protection. Could I fall pregnant? ## If you weren't using any protection, at all, then yes, there is a risk of pregnancy. Have you had a test done to check for pregnancy? Why did you stop taking the Oralcon? Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, mood changes, and weight changes.

Am using oralcon for the first time. I just wanted to know when will I have my periods because I am now taking the red pill, am on the 3rd pill, but still nothing. Am now worried, can I be pregnant? ## Usually when you first start taking birth control, it's contraceptive effects generally don't take full effect until the first couple weeks or month after you begin treatment. Although I think this long time frame/waiting period may vary according to the brand. I'm not sure if your doctor or gynecologist also mentioned this, but irregular periods and missed periods are common side effects associated with these types of medications. This is largely due to the fluctuation in hormone levels, which ultimately have a direct impact on your menstrual cycles. Have you taken a pregnanc...

Good day Mrs/Ms, I recently started using oralcon after much hesitation for years. Reason why i finally gave in was the fact that i am seeing a lot of my peers falling pregnant unintentionally and it really got me worried. Another reason why i decided to take it was because i wanna be able to counter any mistake (condom burst). My question is then is it 100% safe? Can i fully rely on it if i follow all the requirements set forth? ## Yes, it is reliable, according to the U.S. FDA, if taken properly and you don't miss any tablets. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

If I'm still using the white pill at the end of the week then i must start red but what can I do if don't want to menstruate at all? ## Hi i recently started oralcon pills and finished the white line and on the red line can i skip it i dont want to get my period just yet. ## If your doctor approves, you can skip the period week of pills, and just move on to a new pack of active tablets. Many women do so, when it would be inconvenient to have a period, such as if they are getting married, going on vacation, or etc. But there are no guarantees that it will work. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, weight changes, and PMS-like symptoms. Are there any other questions? ## Wanting to know. Hi. I have been using yaz for about 7 months but switched to oralcon. I am currently at my second red pill of the month but I haven't started my cycle yet. I do have extreme cramps, breast tenderness and tiredness but there is no signs of my cycle. I have taken it religiously, and have used extra protection during intimacy with my husband, however we are not ready for children and now we are worried that there might be a chance of pregnancy. ## Irregular cycles can be a normal side effect of oral contraceptives, according to NIH studies, some women even stop having periods entirely, while taking them. Other side effects may include nausea, headache, mood changes, and weight changes. However, the only way to really be sure is by checking for pregnancy. Are you on any other medication...
