I am taking Omnocortil 10mg everyday for Rheumatoid arthritis for almost 2 yrs. doctor prescribed me this since i was planning for pregnancy. earlier i was on folitrax 15mg weekly. now pls advice me whether will there be any side effect to conceive by taking omnocortil. ## i too want to know the reply for this same query as i too suffer from rheumotoid arthiritis ...

my son age 5yrs is taking one tab a day ,4 jra ..knee sweling,, is it ok for child ,, what r the side effects ## Sir, this is a steroid and as per my general knowledge, steroids are harmful for kids... I honestly prefer you taking your son to another doc who can give milder meds for a 5 yr old kid. ...

I have skin problem so doctor prescribed me omnacortil. 25 mg from 2 weeks but i m feeling some problem after taking it. my B.P. goes low,i feel very tired,pain in whole body and feel very weaknees. ## Omnacortil contains the active ingredient Prednisolone, this is a steroid. sir,my mother aged 54yrs old has been using omnacortil 5mg once a day in the morning since 2 months..she is suffering from sjogren"s long she is supposed to take this and are there any chances of occurence of diabetes as aside effect of this medicine..pls let me know. ...

supposed to be prednisone 20mg?? ## The skin specialist prescribed OMNACORTIL 40mg for 2 weeks and taper down to 20mg for 1 week and 10 mg for 1 week for my wife's skin problem. She had taken the same in Sep,08. She is finding her right eye with blurred vision. We checked up with Opthalmologit and he conducted the tests. He feels the Ratina is slightly swollen and it may be due to some intake of medicines. Please let me know whether the above medicine taken by my wife has the side effects on her eye. If so how do we cure the eye problem now. ## The active ingredient in this is Prednisolone and yes, one of the possible side effects can be blurred vision. Hi all, this is pavan. My mother is using this omnacortil 10mg tablets since last 10 years. One doctor suggested this for joint pains. If my mother stop taking this. Is it leads any side affects. I brake out in hives everyday for the last 3 years if I take one pill (10mg ) and 1/4 it I don't brake out. Can I take this long term meaning years? ## Hi, Judy! How are you?
