Oleanz Rt 5

hello sir.....i am tasha from Arunachal pradesh .My brother has been prescribed oleanz rt 5mg (morning) and 10 mg at night. Along with that he is taking skizoril 150 at night ,one bexol both at day and night. And he is also taking bupron at 150 SR at night. I'd like to know more about the clinical uses of Oleanz Rt 10mg and its potential side effects. ## Oleanz is listed as containing the active ingredient Zyprexa, which is an antipsychotic medication. I am not sure, however, if the RT contains an additional ingredient, since I couldn't find any information on it. The side effects to Zyprexa may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and weight changes. Does anyone have more information on the RT formulation?

i have been given oleanz rt 5 tab one every night and now today i have been given oleanz 5 tab. i want to know what is the difference between these two oleanzes pls clarify ## i am also finding answer to same question but havn't got any result from google. Someone please educate us ## I argued with my pschiatrist that my weight gain is because of Oleanz 5mg. He changed it to Oleanz RT 5 mg. According to him RT should not result in weight gain

my father takes the following medicine Oleanz RT 10(olanzapline), estopam-10(escitalopam oxalate tablets), cap. preganerve-m(Preagabalin with mecobalamin) he complains of heavy head and lays on bed all day.kindly suggest something to help in releif. ## Has he consulted his doctor? Generally, it's not recommended to try to treat possible side effects with another medication, because they all carry the risk of causing side effects, so you can just end up compounding the problem. The Olanzapine is an antipsychotic and it is well known to cause these types of side effects, so it may be the culprit.
