Xanax? ## No, this site is not certain what is in these tablets. They are from Mexico, mainly the Tijuana area and they have been sold to people as supposedly being several different medications, including Xanax, Ritalin and various narcotics. Is anyone familiar with these tablets? ## Yup, after 3+ years in the Tijuana area, I got scammed for the first time. Things are tightening up and pharmacies seem to be adhering. I do know that this particular pill is likely Ritalin. The closest thing I could find was a grey oblong pill with 599 preceded by a fancy looking R in front if the number. Click on the link below to see a picture of the pill... If the picture matches the pill which you found, then it is Etodolac 400mg. If it is not a match, then the pill is either from outside the USA, an over the counter drug, or an illegal drug. Was found in a hydrocodone bottle ## If it is stamped Watson 358 or m358 its a Lortab; which Lortab is the brand name of Hydrocodone. ## The tablet with the Z71 marking is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and contains 500mgs of Metformin, which is used to help lower and control blood sugar in diabetics. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, flatulence, hypoglycemia, and diarrhea. (NDC 68382-0760) Payton, Lortab is the name brand for it. (NDC 16590-636, just one example.) However, it should be noted that it no longer contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, due to FDA action, combined medications cannot contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose.
