Thank you ## If you don't mind my asking, what shape is this pill supposed to be (round/oval/oblong/square)? Also, have you asked any of your teenagers at home what their thoughts were? Found these pills in my sons room. He says they are pain pills of some sort but I am not sure. They are white oblong and when I broke it in half there are brown specks, about the size of a 800 mg Tylenol. If anyone knows what these are please let me know.. ## Hello, Kyle! How are you? If there are no markings, then it may be hard to narrow down what they contain. We can rule them out as being a prescription medication, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification, but there are many possible over the counter products that match this description. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. i was told its a sleeping tablet but not sure would like to make sure before i take them ## Based on the description provided, I believe I found your pill to be Oxcarbazepine (300 mg). Manufacturer: Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. NOTE: This pill is regarding as being brown and not peach. However I haven't found a photo of the pill to verify how closely this color is to 'peach'. Often times light brown or tan colored pills are falsely depicted in descriptions. Oxcarbazepine is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizing drug, used primarily in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to treat anxiety and mood disorders, and benign motor tics. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxcarbazepine Details Does this sound like a possibility? ...

These are a very light blue color, broke one open and green/brown/tan inside - (seemed to be that the blue was just a coating) thinking it might be multivitamin Looking for a photo, I flushed it before I thought about it. ## I'm sorry, but without an imprint, there is no way to positively identify it, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. There are several tablets on the market that meet this description, so we can only guess at what it was. It could have been a multi-vitamin, some other type of supplement or a number of other over the counter items. I am sorry, I really wish I could help more. ## So most likely this was on OTC medication. I have already discarded the medication, but was trying to figure out if it probably was an OTC medication and not a prescription. ## Yes, ... ...

This pill is oval and only has a 51 imprint on it. It is white in the inside and has no other numbers but 51 no other imprint or anything. ## This may be a long shot, but there's a 200mg Ibuprofen tablet that's brownish-red and oblong with l2 on one side and blank on the other. If you hold it upside down it could appear similar to 5l, depending on the condition of the tablet? For verification, the National Drug Code is 49035-517 and it appears to be a product of Walmart. Perhaps you can contact your local pharmacy and/or poison control to see if this sounds like a possible match. Whereabouts did you get it from? ...

No markings, looks very similar to a bug's cocoon, similar in color also. Oval or slightly oblong shaped. Has one perforated seam where it was torn from a sheet of some sort, almost certainly homemade. Has a clear, odorless liquid inside. No idea what it is or where it came from, I think someone dropped it in my house. It's defintely not a bug. ## Hi CuriousGeorge, That's quite an interesting description you have of this alleged cocoon-like pill, Lol. I haven't actually come across any brown capsules that fit such a depiction, and would be curious to know what type of person it was who might've have dropped it in your house, since it seems like they would probably be the one that made it from their home. FERRIC OXIDE RED in Brn Verapamil from Glen vs Bl from Mylan
Post a Reply
I have been taking the Blue oblong tab 180mg from Mylan, I think, for years with no problem (for chronic migraine relief). One time, some years ago, I received a brown tablet and took it back because it did not work and I got a terrible 3 day long migraine attack. I did some research and found out it was because of the dye in it making it brown. So my pharmacist got me the Blue ones and kept them in stock for me. I have moved and recently filled them via mail order pharmacy and they arrived yesterday....brown from Glenmark. Why do the brown ones make me sick and the blue ones work for me just fine? I will need to call the mail order pharmacy and see what I can do about sending these back and getting them filled at a local pharmacy in hopes of getting the blue ones. ...

For months I have been taking MSER 100mg, and the shape is oblong, color is light blue and 100 is on one side and E658 on the other side. These pills have been working great. My last refill of MSER, the pills were different. they are round, either light brown or gray, 100 on one side and either a M or a W with a square around the letter. These are not effective at all. Has my pharmacy made a mistake? Can you tell me what company manufacture's each of these pills ?and can you tell me what the different ingredients are between the two? Brown oblong pill; no scoring; no imprints: prenatal vitamins? ## I'm trying to compare the prenatal vitamins my doctor prescribed for my 1st and current pregnancy. I was taking Natelle Plus. It is a pink oblong pill that has a P and 112 printed on it. Along with it in the same little foil packet is pinkish/redish liquid gel capsule. Currently I'm taking the Prenatal Plus tablets. On that is printed G12. It seems it has too much A and some herbs that concerns me. How do you think these compare? Also at the time I took the Natelle Plus there was not a generic and it was very expensive. What compares to the Natelle Plus because I really liked them? Thank you so much for your help. ...
