I'm Kevin, I have bulging discs, degenerative disease, had an mri that showed this. My question is where in Goldsboro, NC can I find a doctor or pain clinic that will prescribe pain meds as I'm opposed to surgery? ## Had surgery and am still dealing with pain. Are there any methadone doctors in or around Guilford county NC that can help me with pain? It just seems like that if you're trying to get pain meds, they think you're an addict. Not everyone is a drug addict. ## I have had hip, leg and knee replacements; also back surgery but cant find a doctor to prescribe me my pain meds in monroe, north carolina. ## Seeing a number of people with a similar problem im having, can anyone give me an answer about a dr. Need a central/eastern NC doctor willing to prescribe pain medications. I am taking methotrexate and have been told multiple times not to take otc medications such as ibuprofen and Tylenol and referred by the specialist to my PCP for medications. My PCP is aware of the methotrexate and physician telling me not to use otc medications, but will not prescribe anything. He actually told me to take "a little" Tylenol or ibuprofen. A lot won't even help my joint pain. In need of a doctor willing to prescribe and preferably one I can see ASAP that does not require a referral. ## There is Cape Fear Valley Bladen Medical Associates in Elizabethtown, nc 28377 and the phone number is 1-910-862-5500 and they show concern for patients with severe pain. They are taking new patients. I wou...

I normally see two Dr at the office I go to depending on their availability, I have been going there for 5 years. Today was my appt, the Doctors I normally see were busy so I had to see another Doctor. Dr I seen today was so damn rude. Such A ignorant Jack-Ass. Regardless of my findings and the fact that 2 doctors have been prescribing this mediation to me from that same office, she ended up telling me I am not impressed by your pain and I am not impressed by your findings, and w...

I have chronic leg pain and suffer from severe daily migraines. I use narcotic meds to treat both and see my primary care provider monthly to follow up. I am getting ready to undergo surgery with a specialist and will require a narcotic not as strong to help me get through for a few days. Can I legally get this filled in North Carolina with the new laws? ## The best person to ask is probably your regular pharmacist. They are used to answering such questions for customers, so there shouldn't be a problem if you speak to them in person to ask. Most state controlled substance laws do contain special exception rules to allow for issues like this, which would be a temporary dosage adjustment, but your pharmacist will be able to provide you with more specific details relevant to NC. The F...

What pharmacy carries the Rhodes or west ward brand of Buprenorphine in July 2021 in NC? ## I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but the only way to find out would be to ask at each pharmacy. There is no central database that tracks which manufacturer's product is in stock, at any given pharmacy. Even if someone set one up, the information is so dynamic that keeping it accurately up to date would be virtually impossible. Did you try asking your regular pharmacy if they can order it in for you? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## I did ask and they are saying they can't get them.

48 year old Raleigh resident looking for a doctor to prescribe me my diazepam. I am being cut off from the clinic I go to. After my doctor retired (in Virginia) went to Monarch because I do not have health insurance. I now go to Cornerstone. I have been taking Diazepam for about 25 years as well as Zoloft. I am aware of the side effects and long term usage of "Benzos". I have a long history of mental health issues and this combination is the best for me. I exercise, meditate, watch my caffeine intake and use to tools taught to me to handle my emotional problems to the best of my ability. I feel angered that because of whatever the issues are that prescribers are not prescribing these types of medications should not be my concern. I have read thoroughly on the CDC'S website. ...

Hi, I am a disabled single mom, and have been seeing a family doctor who prescribes my pain meds along with everything else. I have a progressive disease I was born with in my spine, and 5 other conditions related to this. The reason I would like to stay with a family doctor is that I don't have the time and money to run all over the area and go to doctor's appts everyday of the week. The office I have been going to, I've now been switched to my 3rd student doctor in 3 years and they've done an across the board change in their pain med policy. They don't care that they aren't treating individual patients needs. My quality of life has gone backwards about 8 years and they have cut my medications to half of what I was taking when I was pregnant. I'm on medicare...

I must have called 20 or more doctors today. None of them will prescribe me benzodiazepines such as Klonopin at all. I'm 25 and have been on it since I was 16 and they just simply say "no one in the state will prescribe those thanks for calling". I'm near Charlotte but right now I would drive anywhere to get them because in a week or two I will be deathly sick and I can't face that. I just moved across the country away from my family, stopped my addiction to pain killers (that was caused by anxiety), and I'm trying to better my life. And to make it worse I'm having such a hard time living on my own mentally and they want me to stop all benzos. PLEASE HELP ME if you know of anyone who can help. {edited for privacy} ## Hello, Mike! I Am In Tennessee And Want To Fill My North Carolina Presription For Percacet What Pharmacy Can I Go ## Hi, Markie! How are you? Unfortunately, the answer is most likely going to be none! There are restrictions on how much of any medications like this they can order in each month, so that coupled with the importance of monitoring these types of prescriptions and having to validate their authenticity has caused most pharmacies to restrict their customer base to only people who live in and see a doctor within a certain radius of their location. Learn more Percocet details here. When will you be returning to NC?

I am a 51 year old woman that is on disibality. I DESPERATLY NEED A DOCTOR.. in or as near as possible to Marion North Carolina, that will take medicade and will prescribe my pain meds and clonazepam along with my other meds. and not treat me like a criminal PLEASE! ## Hello, Nanna! How are you doing? I'm sorry, but due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, if you require such medications on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see specialists for each related condition. For instance, pain medications will need to be prescribed by a pain management specialist and Clonazepam from another, a PCP can only write now for general medications, such as those for high blood pressure. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to the appropriate doctors? If ...

Looking for a Pain Doctor in North Carolina to prescribe me my medicine Opanas er so I can continue to support my family. I broke my neck in 2010. Due to Hospital not doing xray because they assumed that I was there for pain medicine (ironic, huh) but went 3 times in a 6 week period. Finally my wife took me to another hospital and lied, told them I had been in an accident. Immediately sponsored MRI. I was flown to CMC for immediate operation. Now my C2, C3, C4 were ate up with infection. I left the hospital on alot of medicine. I'm narrowing it all down to the extended release only. But the pain doctor that I just started seeing, puts me on this other narcotic. It's been 6 years and I finally know what works. Then my doctor retired and left me starting from day 1. I don't wa...

North Carolina is a strict state also but will fill 3 days early at most mainstream pharmacies, if it's been at least 30 days since the last fill regardless of what the doctor wrote as the refill date. ## Thanks for sharing this important information. I always thought doctors were the ones who had the most amount of control over the refill date; but I can understand how (in certain rare cases) it may be helpful to grant a pharmacist permission to make such a fateful decision on behalf of their own whit and whim - e.g. if a doctor is out of town on vacation and/or the patient is undergoing withdrawals & various circumstances of that nature... It's just a little disturbing though when pharmacists abuse this power to their fullest extent, rendering some doctor's pain script...
