No Imprint Yellow Oval Pill

I found a yellow oblong pill with no writing on it. It was in a foil case of 5. The foil also had no writing.. ## I have an oval pale yellow pill, scored on one side but no print on the other. Could this be a generic xanax? And if so, what mg? ## No, in the U.S. and Canada, all manufactured prescription medications, whether generic or name brand, must have unique imprints on them to enable their identification in case of emergency. Thus, it is most likely that a tablet without an imprint is an over the counter product of some type. However, these is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Are there any comments or questions?

I found some yellowish oval capsule like tablets in my house. Inscribed I127. What is the name of the pills and what do they treat? ## Based on the tablet being described it is most likely Griseofulvin 125 mg (NDC 0781-5827) used for treating fungal infections. I have found this tablet on the toilet in my company. No one has ever heard of this tablet. The pill is oval. The color ist yellow (a little bit "mustard"). The pill have on site clear, the other sinde have on pyramid and the same pyramid upside down and one sun. This logo ist very small and the color is black. Who is the manufacturer? What is the active substance?

Have found 2 halves of a pill in my brothers room, because they are halved I can only make out an imprint of an E on one half and an 0 on the other half, so there may be something in the middle. Imprint # 106S may be a xanax, not sure its yellow and the stamp is 106 S - what is it? ## You are reading it upside down. It is S 901 not 106 S. I made the same mistake. Its a .5 mg generic Xanax. Is Pravastatin 20 mg (with "LU N02" imprint on pill) gluten-free? This is a pill, girl pinkie nail size. Imprint is E 20 or (E20). It is golden/yellow/ochre in colour. Flat top and bottom. Not fully rounded. Family member ordered these over the Internet. Packaged in foil wrap. Foil has blue print on back. (Hard to read). Print reads as follows: B. NO. 798027 ## Hi Howard, Looking online, I haven't come across anything with that type of marking. So my guess is that it is probably a foreign or counterfeit medication as you mentioned. When it comes to ordering medications over the internet (especially from overseas), this is just one of those risks that everyone has to deal with. Do you know what this pill was supposed to be, based on your family member's order information? Maybe if we had a lead to go off of, it would at least get us searching in the right direction. Little oval pill it has M on one side and an 8 and 7.on the other ## You listed CS in the post subject, then in here you said the imprint is M 87 and I am not finding anything for either. P with a circle around it ## That's a pretty vague imprint and it's going to be hard to narrow down what this is. There is a similar logo on Primatene pills, however, they are round, not oval and they are also yellow. That said, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter items. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? Can you provide anymore information on it?

I found a few of these while I was cleaning and I have children in my home. I was curious so I looked it up and could not find it. Also I think the E imprint is more like a logo. ## That is the Hungarian version of Xanax; active ingredient alprazolam (a bensodiazepin, sedative, addictive). This exact pill is called Frontin, Hungarian pharmaceutical company. ## Frontin 0.5 mg Oval tablet, biconvex, yellow, marked with "E312" on one side and scored on the other side. Seems that's it's Alprazolam. ## So if a 312 is 0.5mg of alprazolam, I presume a 313 mite be 1mg of alprazolam? ## Definitely .5mg alprazolam. Frontin is the actual pharmaceutical name. Regular pill shaped (similar to a thickened oval). Has defined cuts on the sides, it is NOT fully rounded. The bottom half is all white. The top half is light yellow and has 511 printed into it.
