Is it Naproxen? ## Yes, it is 500mgs of Naproxen, a generic for Naprosyn. ## I want to know if the naproxen pill marked G 32 500 contains penicillin? I'm highly allergic to penicillin and don't want to take it for my fibromyalgia if it has penicillin in it.

Naproxen is an nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to reduce inflammation and lower fever. Penicillin and amoxicillin are antibotics and are used to treat infections.
