for adhd ## Could you please explain some of the effects of this medicine, short and long term? NMy son was just prescribed this for impulsive hyperactivity. He is only 4. I have not wanted to put him on meds, but I have to know. He is getting worse and he even got kicked out of school. However, the info packet with the meds states not recommended for children under 7. I also want him to be able to go into any government service if he would like and from what I hear, you can not enlist if you are on ritalin or have ever been on it. Being that this is a remake so-to-speak, would he be able to enlist? ## Sorry, you would be best served if you asked your doctor or pharmacist that type of information.

I was taking bupropion MPI 3332, round white tablet(Generic Welbutrin 30xl), I changed pharmacies and recieved this white oblong caplet with M B9 printed on one side. I felt alot of anxity start to build over the next few days and the one cigarette I had finally worked down to(ultra light 72 [the teeny shot ones]), was now back up to half pack or more and full on regular light 100's! I thought nothing of it other than a breif passing moment while in the pharmacy and that was that. After Angioplasty, I was advised to take METLOC ER-25 ("metoprolol succinate er 25") - one daily in the morning. Now, they are going to conduct MPI (Stress test) in a day or two. Doctor advised me stop taking this "metoprolol succinate er 25" - 72 hrs before the stress test. Because of that I am feeling (a) slight headache (b) pain in chest (c) giddyness - at times. Is it OK? This is second day (after stopping the tablet). ## Balu just checking other postings on Metoprolol. It has been way over a year since your post. Wondering how the test went for you!! I cannot believe you were told to stop taking it without some weaning off it! It can have bad rebounds with blood pressure to say the least! I follow another thread here v on the same drug.

It's not a common side effect, but it can happen. The Hydrochlorothiazide in it may be causing you to be a little dehydrated and that might cause some constipation initially. this is on the pill it is oval shape supposely a pain pill ## I think the imprint code you have is WPI 3416. If so then that is 325 mg Acetaminophen + 50 mg Butalbital + 40 mg Caffeine, a pain reliever, generic for Fioricet.

Blue round tablet about 5mm in diameter. MPI marking on one side and a scored line on another side. Was given for insomnia.
