Is there something equal that I can get my Dr to RX I am running out of other medicines, need help ## Have you ever tried Oxycontin? It's a time released formulation of Oxycodone, which is a very potent narcotic and it's also stronger than the Morphine, so you'd even require a lower dose, you'd only need 40mgs of it to equal each 60mg dosage of Morphine. Does it come with a warning? ## Yes, if someone isn't opiate tolerant and they crush or chew it, this dosage could cause an overdose, as it is a pretty high one. Are you afraid of taking it? ## I take both a prescribed immediate and slow release Morphine Sulfate that are only 30mg each. I need to find out if I can cut my pills in half or in 1/4's and still have the medication be extended release and still help with my pain? I have never done it before and I do not like taking the pill all at once. ## No, it is not safe to cut a time released pill, if you prefer a lower dosage, you should speak to your medical provider and ask if they will prescribe one for you. Learn more Morphine details here. Where was it found? ## Is there a company making Morphine 60mg round pills which are orange in color but this orange isn't a coating that's normally found with Morphine 60mg pills. Can l cut my doseage down over a period of time until l stop completely? Please help! ## Hello, Natalie! How are you? Yes, a slow taper is usually best to minimize withdrawal symptoms, but you should follow your doctor's instructions for the best results. I've been on morphing 15 mg for 9 years at 4 times a day . witch would equal to 60 MG's. A day and now they decided to put me on 30 milligrams time release twice a day . is this still the same thing or different and how ## Hello, Blackbetty! How are you? The time released can give some people better pain control, since it is slowly released over the 12 hour dosing period. That is the only difference. And no, you can't cut or break them, because that could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once. They must be swallowed whole. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I find it ridiculous that sooo many people are messing around with schedule II narcotics yet have no clue to the potency, side effects, drug interactions, etc.. are you people not adults? Oxy is indeed a good 1.5% stronger than morphine and not at all subtle like morphine.. Most doses of Oxy that are between 15-30 mg are IR's not ER (extended release like most morphine)... SO BE CAREFUL AND FOR YOUR LIFE'S SAKE! DO SOME SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH BEFORE POPPING YOUR PILLS LIKE CANDY!! 60 mg of oxy in one release can stop your breathing! ## Hello, Nobody! The agony of Morphine and Vicodin withdrawals

I was on 60 mg time released Morphine 3× a day. The pain clinic got mad and released me because i would not get shots in my back, leaving me with 2 refills. So i went back to my family dr with a 1 month fill on my pills. Could not get in anywhere, i got screwed and now am going through withdrawals after being on Morphine for 6 years and Vicodin for about 8 years. I know it's hard with pain but to me it's just not worth it. The dr's are not caring, just leaving me to suffer. I feel like i have been hit by a truck then beat almost to death, u could not begin to know how bad this is unless u have went through it. I wish everyone well. You cant stay on the pain meds forever. My advice, don't get on pain meds. I'm done and will never take another one. Good luck. ...

Please identify a small (1/4" circumference) colored tablet with ABG imprint one side & 60 on other side. The pharmacy bottle says it's Morphine Sulfate ER 60 MG by Actavis Pharm generic for Avinza. However, this tablet looks nothing like the small green capsule in last month's bottle with the exact same details on that bottle. ## This tablet is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 60mgs of Morphine in a time released formulation. I'm needing to stop taking Kadian as it's too expensive. Does anyone know the cost of 80 mg Oramorph per month taking one every 12 hours? 60 pill per 30 days. ## I don't think anyone can give you a specific answer, unless you post exactly where you are and what pharmacy you want to buy them at. It is going to vary from area to area around the country. Some prices may be pretty close, but it would still only be a guess. Oramorph is another name brand of Morphine, so it is also liable to be expensive. Have you considered asking your doctor or pharmacist for the generics? There are generic versions of time released Morphine that are much cheaper. ## alphapharm provides an indigent med program for Kadian i get mine for free it cost me 18 dollars to overnight it and 3 days later ... ...

60 mg morphine how to inject
1 Reply RSS Share
how much water do you use if your injecting half of a 60 mg morphine ## It is actually not safe to inject a medication that is not intended for that purpose, especially if it is something in a time released formulation. Tablets contain fillers, some of which are not meant to be broken down by the human body and are normally just expelled in our waste. When you inject them, you are putting these substances into the body in a way that cannot be processed out. This creates the risk of blockages, which can result in embolism or strokes. Are there any comments or questions? ...
