I am trying to figure out how many 7.5 pills this would equal, and I need to know how to take it, by teaspoon or tablespoon? ## From what I've read, Lortab Elixir (oral solution) is a yellow-colored tropical flavored liquid containing Hydrocodone bitartrate 7.5 mg + Acetaminophen 500 mg "PER 15 mL", w/ 7% alcohol. It is supplied in containers of 1 pint (473 mL). On white round pills it says ml line 152 on the pill bottle label it reads oxycodone/acetaminophen what type of pill is it ## Hello, Sam! How are you? The tablets with the MLX 152 marking contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen, this is available over the counter and is a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. Percocet would contain Oxycodone with the Acetaminophen, which this does not. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have a bottle of 300 ml of liquid hydrocodone/apap 7.5/325mg that says to take 15ml every 4 to 6 hrs on the bottle. I was wanting to know how many pills would be equal to 300 ml of liquid? ## Hello, Slim! How are you? Well, going by what you've posted, each 15ml contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so that means 300mls would be equivalent to about 20 tablets. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## This tablet contains Oxycodone Hydrochloride 5 mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg (NDC 00054-4650). The split line is actually called a score line. It makes it easier for you to break or cut the pill, if necessary, to split the dose equally. Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Croscarmellose Sodium - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Stearic Acid ## I have a percocet but I don't know what strength it is. It has the numbers 54 on top and 543 on bottom; and a split line on the other side. ## Thank you for your information. Now I can get rid of this terrible tooth ache pain for a few hours. I got a liquid form of 7.5/325 of vicodin. I usually take a pill with that same amount. Is it the exact same dosage in liquid form? ## Each 5 mil (teaspoon) has Hydrocodone 7.5 mg & Acetaminophen 325 mg. Each tablet has the same thing. ## @cheryl, I don't know if the dosing instructions are any different on yours, but information I'm finding online states that each 7.5/325mg dose amounts to "15 mL" (or 1 tablespoonful) - not "5 mL" as BL mentioned. This can be verified on the following page under the section titled "How Supplied": dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=0f92b236-6d69-476c-a71b-ff48071b6da5 Outside of that it seems like the only differences you might notice may be found within the list of "inactive ingredients" that ar...

Took 15 ml by accident - Am I ok? I want to make sure I didn't overdose. I took it before bed time and just want to make sure I'm ok before going to sleep? ## You're fine. My dr has said to just take a gulp from the bottle for severe coughs which is roughly equal to 20-30ml, aside from getting a little sleepy and completely knocking out my cough there were no ill effects. ## I have cheratussin ac syrup and when I leave it for a while it gets little white stuff in it. I keep it in the frigidare so probably aint suppose too could this be the problem because I thought something might be wrong with it. ## @Faye, I've never had that happen to a bottle of cough syrup before, with the white stuff accumulating and what not. Then again, I never put my Cheratussin AC in the fridge...

I have to give this medicine to my child. What I want to know is how many ml's are in 4 grams, because it says don't exceed 4 grams per day? ## 4 grams would be 4,000 milligrams of the Acetaminophen, so since this medication contains 325mgs per dose, you should be fine, as long as you follow the doctor's dosing instructions. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. If I take 15 ml of red liquid hydrocodone 7.5 mg / acetaminophen 325 mg, does that equal 1 pill, or what does that amount (15ml) equal in pill form? ## It depends on the dosage of the pill. There is one available in the 7.5mg and 325mg dosage. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. 15ml is a liquid measure, so it does not apply to pills, you have to go by milligrams for them. What has been prescribed for you?

I found a white scored pill, a little smaller than a dime with MXL on the top and 125/123 on the bottom. Curious as to what this might be. ## yea i have the same ones, i have no idea what they could be their's no info on the net ## I am not sure what the ID is for this exact pill, but others that have come up for ID with the MLX logo are over the counter items, which is why this is hard to find. There are no regulations regarding the markings of OTC items like there are for prescription meds, so there is really no comprehensive database for them. For example, a pill marked MLX 152 is 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol, and one marked MLX 123 is 325mgs of Acetaminophen.

Hi, my sister was prescribed some liquid hydrocodone, the label reads: take 7.4 ml every six hours 5/5000mg/15ml. What would that be in pill form? ## That would be equivalent to 2.5mgs Hydrocodone and 250mgs of Acetaminophen, per 7.4ml. Or a 5mgs Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen per 15ml. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. each reconstituted 5 ml contains cefaxime trihydrate I.P. Eq to cefaxime 50 mg. what would be dosage for 2 year old with ear infection he weighs 28 lbs thank you! ## Hello, Lola! How are you? You should only dose a child according to the doctor's dosing instructions. At such a young age, it is far too easy to put them in danger by dosing them improperly. Usually, the dose would be 8mgs per kilogram orally once a day, or 4mgs per kilogram orally twice a day in separate doses. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have four ounces of hydro bit soap 7.25/325 per 15ml. How many pills would that be equal to? ## Hi Amy - I'll try to see if I can do some math below to help you with the conversion. 4 oz = approx. 118.3 ml. 118.3 ml / 15 ml = approx. 7.9 doses of 15 ml. So in other words the four ounce container has close to 8 doses of 15 ml in it, each dose containing 7.25/325 of the active ingredients. Does that help? Also, I couldn't help but noticing that you said your medication is in a soap form? Is that what you meant to say? I am not familiar with that, if you could write back with some more details about your medication that would be super helpful (and also help to satisfy my curiosity). Thanks!

My daughter is 12 and her weight is 160lbs and she had surgery and they gave her 360oz of hydrocodone - acetaminophen 7.5-325mg/15mL and she takes 10mL every 4 hours. How long should this bottle of meds last? ## Hi Kayla - Can you please double check the total size of the bottle? 360 oz doesn't seem possible for a prescription since that equals over 10,000 ml. Do you mean to say 360 ml? ## I'm going to assume for a moment that the OP meant 36 oz of liquid since that equals about 1065 ml. That being the case, taking a dose every 4 hours equals 6 doses per day. BUT ... I will also assume only 5 doses per day since the patient is probably sleeping longer than 4 hours, and taking 5 doses per day at 4 hour intervals equals 16 hours of wake time. So ... 50 ml per day of liquid. 1065 m...

Is Ranitidine 15mg/ml (75mg/5ml) syrup manufactured by Silarx gluten free? I have celiac disease and am allergic to gluten, but can't find any information online about it. ## First off, every SINGLE person I've ever met who claimed to suffer from celiacs was full of crap. The ACTUAL incidence of this disease is so minute it's almost impossible to know two people organically who DO have it. Furthermore it's certainly so rare that there's no reason a store could make.enough money to offer an entire gluten free section.
