I take 50mcg/h patches I was amazed out how well they worked (Cancer) I have been on Fentanyl for 5 months the first patches hardly worked from a generic company Sadoz. It felt like I was just putting a piece of scotch tape on myself I told my Dr and he explained some story about the drug companies are removing the gel and made this new format (so i have to suffer because he said people were able to get the gel out of the patches?. I filled my last 2 prescriptions at walgreens and they had your brand I was out of pain within a half hour -Are you switching to these flat patches? and if so PLEASE help me find a company that will still carry them !!! ## this site does not manufacture, nor sell any medications, this is an information only website, therefore this site is not switching anythin... ...

I have been getting the Hydrocodon-Apap 10-500 Watson and they were blue they have changed to white and they do not help with the pain an makes me feel tired an sick the blue ones did not so whats up with that they say they are the same but they are not and no a lot of other peps say the same thing and yes they are prescribed. ## Hi Molly S, The color of a medication doesn't usually have anything to do with its formulation- as far as active ingredients are concerned. This one could possibly be from a different manufacturer that used a different blend of "inactive" ingredients in which you might be reacting to. Did you get the pills from your usual pharmacy? If you haven't contacted Watson (also known as Actavis) pharmaceuticals about this yet, I've listed their conta... ...

My generic lorcet {Watson 503} have always been pale green. My refill, which is the same medication {strength, shape and mfg.}, but they are white and I believe they had a different imprint. For years I've been legitimately prescribed this medication for pain managment after a Cage was put in my lower back due to degenerative disc disease~surgery was unsucessful for pain relief. Thank You in advance for any information...Peace ## Without knowing the imprint on them, I can't check them for you, to see if they are the same medication or not. However, what I can tell you is that it may be just the color that has changed. Watson has recently begun removing the dye from some of their tablets, due to the fact that it was causing sensitivities in some people and there were some who wer... ...

How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've had. The joint and muscle pain can be normal side effects of this medication and has caused many people to have to stop taking it. It can also cause dizziness, hair loss and increased urination, as reported by the FDA. It made me very miserable, when I tried it and I had to stop taking it, too. That rash, however, isn't listed, though it has been known to cause a general rash, with itching. What medication d... ...

For years I have been taking Watson brand Percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. A few months ago I went to fill the prescription and was given Endocet by Endo Pharm. and told it was a generic they had, so I agree to take it. Then last month when I went to get the same script filled I was given Oxycodone/Acet by Actavis and told it is the generic brand but the company bought out Watson and that is why Watson is no longer available. Again, agreed but shortly after taking them I started to notices slight shortness of breath, fast heat beat, extreme dizziness, fall asleep within 30 minutes after taking them, less energy and still having pain. I never felt this way when on Watson and if they are saying it's the same company why am I having theses symptoms? I always take 6 a day, but with thes... ...

How are you? What are the markings on it? That information is the only way for me to be able to determine the correct manufacturer to find the correct ingredients list for you. MFG. Actavis selling bad pills a333

I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. The pharmacist refused to take the pills back She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.0... ...

I am reading a lot of complaints about this drug. I was taking Watson 3202 5-325 for pain and it worked for my pain. Now Actavis makes 2172 in place of Watson 3202. I don't see any difference. ## Some people may be more sensitive to different inactive ingredients than others. Their bodies may also process/metabolize these ingredients at a different rate, affecting absorption. However, the amount of active ingredients in generic drugs is rumored to fluctuate by up to 20% more or less. I don't know if this varies from batch to batch, but I'm glad to hear that someone else is having a good experience with the 2172 pill, as it goes to show that everyone really does react differently, despite the nay sayers calling it a placebo by comparison to Watson's older products. Amneal mfg, hydrcodone- apap 5-325 doesn't work as well as V 3604 or Watson 349- why? ## Hi Jane, I think I can help answer your question here. One of the primary factors that doesn't seem to be well known to the public, is that the FDA allows active ingredients in generic meds to vary by as much as 25% from the actual listed dosage. This could potentially mean that a 5mg hydrocodone may actually turn out to be 3 to 7 mgs depending on the manufacturer. Aside from that, subtle differences in the "inactive" ingredients (binders/fillers) could also impact the absorption/overall efficacy of the medication. Put two and two together and you pretty much have a different medication than what you may be used to taking. I hope this info helps! Have you tried any of the brand-name ... ...

lorazepam question

I was wondering what is the different between Watson and sandoz mfg. I take 0.5 lorazepam and I got a refill my medicine looks different. ## Hello, Dee! How are you? That is the only difference, the manufacturers. Once a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies and whichever one your pharmacy carries at any given time, will depend on who was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH PLAIN OLD LORTAB SO HOPE THIS IS NOT A GENERIC. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. ## WATSON 3203 contains Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are both in Lortab. Lortab is the Brand Name. ## Yes, the ones with the WATSON 3203 marking on them are a generic, just as BL has stated.
