ON INTERNATE I FOUND THAT MEBEVERINE HAS RARE SIDE EFFECT BUT I FACED PROBLEM. NOW HE IS TAKING ATARAX 10 MG. My age is 66. I was suffering from IBS and my doctor initially suggested Prividac and then Colspa Retard for a couple of months, but thereafter advised Meva-Sr tablets (2 tabs daily before major meals) along with Serlift 25mg. Since then, I have been using the Meva-Sr along with Serlift 25mg for the last 5 years and feel comfortable. If I use such medicine continuously, will this have any adverse side effect on my health in the long run? ## Hi Swapan, I would suggest getting checked for any Vitamin-D deficiency you may have.

dosage ## I only found some limited details about this medication. It appears to be available in India and contain Lactobacillus (a type of bacteria) for restoring healthy bacteria in the intestines. Also, finding details about dosages is vague because the information is presented in a way which i do not understand. For example I have read "1-1-1 for two weeks" or "1-0-1", but I am not sure what that refers to. For specific dosage I would recommend double checking with the doctor who prescribed this medication. As per Doctor"advice iam taking Meva sr for 2 weeks. Ifind that my random sugar level goes down after taking the tablet. Is this a side effect of Meva sr? Please clarify. Chandrasekhar.
sir actually i was having large instestine ulceration then doctor give me colospa retard and ulceration was healed but the problem is iam suffering from pain again now iam using meva sr, wht i can do to control my pain
