For diabetic treatment my dr asked me to take Glimepiride 2mg + Metformin 500mg (1-1), Voglibose 0.3 mg (1-1) & Pioglitazone 30mg + Metformin 500 mg (1-1). When in the monring after breakfast I took Glimepiride 2mg + Metformin 500mg together along with Pioglitazone 30mg + Metformin 500 mg by Noon, I felt heaviness in my head. Is it the side effect of these medicines? Should I continue to to take or leave it? Please advise. ## I took the combination and ended up in the emergency room because I couldn't uninate and they had to insert a catheter. My wife started checking on the combo plus other meds I was already taking (metoprolol for my heart and ranitidine for my gurd and it turns out they are contraindicated with the combo above.
