i hv been advised by dr. to take this medicine. I had wall thickniess and fibroids. pls suggest me if it is suitable for me or not. ## Hi, Raina! How are you? Meprate contains the active ingredient Medroxyprogesterone, which is a synthetic form of Progesterone, a hormone that is important to the female reproductive cycle. Thus your doctor is trying to supplement it back to help correct the issues you're suffering from. Is there anything else I can help with? *Please note that this information on Meprate is only relevant to the medication from India. ...

i am 31 yrs having pcos. i underwent ivf & had baby a year back. now for past 45 days i have heavy bleeding and also put on weight. doctor 1st advised me Meprate, since no improvement, again advised Meprate with Fefol Z. i was not advied for any ultra sound scan or any other test. kindly advise me i am n right path? ## Some blood work should be done to check what exactly is causing it, as well as an ultrasound. It could be due to a hormonal imbalance, but that's not really likely if the Meprate hasn't helped, since it contains Medroxyprogesterone. Have you visited an Ob Gyn or just a regular doctor for it? A general practitioner may not know all the possibilities involved. ## How long will the menstrual meprate 10mg taking the pill? ...
