I take 15 mg Meloxicam once a day. It is helpful relieving pain for about 12 hours. Can I cut the pill in half and try taking them every 12 hours? ## Just started taking Meloxicam 3 days ago. How often can it be taken? My RX says once a day. I am taking this for extreme pain in my shoulder & arm. How long does it take for this to take affect? Will I have to keep taking it to be able to work? My right arm is still not as good as my left arm.
