I was prescribed two 20 mg of pednisone tablets per day for five days because of a stubborn allergy and sinus infection. I took both of the pills at 9 am this morning to start with because I normally suffer from several nights a week of insomnia anyway.To try to prevent any more sleep problems by adding these pills in, I decided to take them both in the morning hoping the nervousness that they cause would subside enough so by bedtime, about 11 pm, I can sleep. I am a senior citizen and can't afford medications. Every year I get sinus infections because of the huge amount of trees and other plants in WA. This is the perfect antibiotic for me it works every time. My best friend who lives in CA used to get this for me in Mexico, but she has a new doctor who perscribes what she needs so I no longer have access. It costs me $215 to see the doctor and $45 for the prescription. My 13 yr old son was given Betaclav 1000mg twice a day and pulmision 20mg twice a day for 5 days for a sinus infection. It is making him feel worse with nausea, headaches and weakness. I was taking Mometasone for about 3 weeks for a sinus infection. I stopped about 6 weeks ago. Now I am experiencing joint pain and soreness, specifically on my wrists and hands.
