What is a white oval pill with a horizontal divider line that says m 347 on it. Please ID. ## what is it? ## It's a generic pill for vicodin. ## @zak, The closest match I've been able to find is a white oval pill with the imprint M367 on the front and a score on the back. It is a generic Vicodin that contains Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (10 mg). Since the M367 imprint is so similar to your pill's imprint (M347) it is very likely that you do have a generic Vicodin, but possibly a higher or lower dosage than the one I've located. Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain. Unfortunately the FDA allows the active ingredients in generics to differ by as much as plus or minus 20% from the name brands, so if the company has poor quality control, you could have gotten a bad batch. There are also no regulations requiring that the inactive ingredients, which are used for binders and fillers, be the same at all. They can use whatever they wish for that as long as it is approved for us in drugs.
