what long term affects does this drug have ## I've been taking Hydrocodone 10mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg (3-6 TABS a day) If I stop taking this abruptly, how severe will withdrawals be. Will I possibly not have severe withdrawals? Is it better to "wean' off gradually?

I have kidnystones at least every 2 weeks they put me on the white ones and said its just as good for pain all those who say that need to have a full blown stone and see how they deal with it. ## Tony, this conversation has been going on for a while. It seems most people are having problems with the 10mg whites from Watson. The only thing you can do is either 1. Have doc write for name brand only as medically necessary or 2. Ask pharmacy to change you from Watson to another brand like Qualitest. If they won't, take your rx to a pharmacy that doesn't use the Watson brand. However, if you already have the new script, you won't be able to get another script til next time unless doc approves it. However, there are no manufactured tablets on the market that have more than 10mgs of the Hydrocodone in them. If a doctor orders it, some pharmacies will specially compound capsules that contain more, but they are hard to find and very expensive. What does lortab 15mg look like ## There is no manufactured Lortab with 15mgs of Hydrocodone in it to describe to you, they are only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. The only way someone could get a 15mg would be if a doctor specially ordered it and they had it created by a compounding pharmacy and, if that is the case, there would not be any specific markings to give, since they fill their own capsules.
