Lortab 10 Pain Clinic

I am in a pain clinic due to a car accident and am prescribed lortab 10mg 4 times a day I ran out and a friend gave me percocet 10mg. I know they metabolize differently but show up as opiates. Does a standard test at a pain clinc usually test for the difference

Does anyone know a pain management doctor in Memphis or north MS, that will prescribe pain killers, that is not afraid of the FDA. I am self pay and have no insurance and have had R.A. for over 20 years. In horrible pain. My last doctor would only give me Lortab 10. I am seeing a pain clinic. And I have an appointment on the 28th.I 5/500mg Lortabs each month to a month and a half. I lost my pills all 60 of them and have been going through a friend who takes 10/325 mg and another who takes 7.5 mg. I have severe pain in my back and can't go without taking the meds or I'm in screaming pain! So my question is when do I need to start cleaning out my system so that the higher doses of lortab are out of my system so that I can pass the drug test. I know they will test me.But I can't lose my meds because of the pain I'm in! How soon will Lortab show up in system on a urine test. And how many days before it will not show up. I have cronic pain do to back and neck surgery Fusions C4-5, L3-4, 4-5, after surgery bad car accident resulted in herniated disc @L5-S1 also broken femer & something torn in my shoulder. Does anyone know of pain clinics that take out of state patients? Also looking to get put on opanas, or something like that. Been on loratab 1000's for 15 years and they don't do the job anymore. What is the best replacement drug for Lortab 10/500 mg? 20 year user through a pain management clinic ## Hello, John! How are you? Did you doctor offer you any alternative, now that these are no longer available? You can still get pills with Hydrocodone in them, but the Acetaminophen is only 325mgs. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There's really no way to know what other medication may work well for you. What others have you tried? ## The doctors are COWARDS. They have forgotten their oath to "do no harm". They make me sick. I hope they all suffocate from pain. They are right up there with lawyers and used car salesmen.

Is this legal to cut the medication down this much at one time? I have been on 6 10/500 mg hydrocodone/Lortab for well over a year now for fibromyalgia, scoliosis, arthritis, bulging disc, bone spurs, etc. The clinic dr. decided that he prefers the patients there (all/any that take more than 4) be cut down by 2 a day, now making it 4 daily. Shouldn't he lower the dose slowly just as he slowly raised the dose? There has been no substitute given. I already take ibuprofen too. Now I'm feeling more pain and I HAVE TO WORK. Is this legal? I took altogether about 15 lortabs this week counting today. I have a appt. at pain clinic on monday. I am on perc 10s but ran out. I have one i am going to take monday morning before urine test. Is there anything I can use to get lortab out of my system before monday at 3:15 pm? ## Hi Linda, If you were prescribed Lortabs then you have nothing to worry about. Just bring a copy of your prescription to the drug screening for verification. If this is not your prescription, then best option I can suggest would be to detox your system with fruits and vegetables. I take 3 Tylenol 4's a day & just got 7.5/325mg hydrocodone today. Would lortab 10 or tylenol #4 be stronger than 7.5 hydrocodone? I did not get the script filled yet. Thank you. ## Loratab 7.5 is somewhat stronger than Tylenol 4, and normally preffered by pain patients over the codeine in the 4's. The 10's are stronger than the 7.5's. I took 2 7.5 hydrocodones about 6 weeks ago and I am on oxycodone and percocet daily, so I had my urine test at pain clinic Thursday and it came back possitive for hydro and not only that but said mega doses had been taken. They told me I had to of taken sometime in the last week to 10 days, I did not!!! I am highly allergic to codeine and morphine. My pm dr did a urine drug test on me and sent to a lab and it came back positive for both however, I have not taken codeine or any form of it or morphine. I'm on opana which is oxymorphone but they said it doesn't show as morphine. Need to replace some pills to my doctor and then he will give me vicidon ## Prescription tablets in the U.S. have unique imprints to enable their identification, you will not be able to fool your doctor in such a manner. I am prescribed 5-325 Lortab but mistakenly took one of my wifes 10mg Percoset. (We accidentally took each others pill) This was at 6pm on a Sun. evening. I have a urinalysis scheduled at 2:30 Pm on the following Tue. At my pain management clinic. Will this have a problematic result on my test?
