Pls help, I'm finally getting off these stupid loratabs and they are starting me on sub Monday 8am, how long does it take to get loratabs out of your of your system ## You have to be in full withdrawal, before you can start Suboxone, or it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. There is no definitive answer that I can give you, because the time frame can vary from person to person, it may take anywhere from 12 hours to several days. The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I found a pill in my truck its tan i was told its a loratab not too sure ## Are there any markings on it? That is what would enable it to be identified, the color actually doesn't mean anything. If there are no markings, then we can actually rule it out as being a U.S. approved and manufactured Lortab tablet, since manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are all required to have markings to enable their identification. So, if it has no markings, it is most likely just an over the counter product. Can you please get back to me and let me know if it has any markings? Thanks!

I have arthritis in neck and knee and bulging discs in c5 and c6 and curved spinw, paraspinous, inverted neck curvature, lower back spurs and lack of spacing, middle back pain, degenerative disc disease, and the discs pinch all my nerves ro have severe pain in neck and back and arms and legs and severe migraines. Im 28 and live in memphis, tn and need a dr who will prescribe me meds while im looking for insurance and figuring surgery out. I cant even wash dishes and sit comfortably amymore without the pain and twitching and severe poppong and burning and stabbing pains. I need one asap. Only loratab 10 s and oxys work for me to do anything. Tried many relaxers and they never work or even touch. Only to clean is with pain meds. if the 10 mgs of hydrocodone(loracets) are the same as any other pain relievers containing 10 mgs of hydrocodone (ex: narco, loratab....) why do the 10 mg loracets seem to work twice as good as the others. ## Because the different amount of Acetaminophen plays a role, it basically enhances the effects of the narcotic, so it works better. However, they do have to limit the amount of Acetaminophen that is used, because if a person takes too much of it in a day, it can be severely toxic. Thus, these amounts have been carefully formulated to provide safety and efficacy. Are there any other questions or comments? ## not experienced in this field. I would like to know if anyone knows the effects of mixing Methadone with Hydocodone? Would it be possible for someone to be delusional and hallucinate on this combination? ## Normally when you are on Methadone and need other medicine for a break thru, hydrocodone is the choice that most doctors use cause it has less interreactions than any other , it is usally better if you take them seperate and not at the same time, take your methadone then like 2 hours late take your hydrocodone, that should lessen any side effects, if you still have halucinations and delussions contact your doctor and see if there severe enough to change meds, cause it isnt un common to get some halucinations with some pain meds at first starting just monitor them and if they are severe or worry you contact your do...

The color eans different companies make them some put less tylenol in them some have more ifs its a ten its a ten same effect as as 10/325&10/500 the color doesn't matter in tens now the white with red specs is a five mg an white with blue specs is a 7.5 mg that's the only difference ## Thanks for taking a moment to share this information. A lot of patients may not even realize that their generics might contain up to 20 percent less active ingredients than the brand name. However from "brand to brand", are you saying here that different companies could also mean a difference in the percentage of ingredients? I wouldn't be surprised if there actually was, but it would definitely raise a red flag on the topic of quality control if brand names are getting dosage cut...

My pharmacy told me there going to stop making loratab 10.500.IV taking the 10.325 but doesn't help as much. Is this true about the 10.500 .and if so I can't take loracets or noracotes.they make me sick my stomach. So what shouldn't I ask my doctor to switch me to, percusets ?I don't want to take oxycodon but I have been taking loratab ten years..so would the percusets be the next level to move to? I can't hold my job down if dont have them. Thanks.. ## Well, without your posting the imprint on the pills, I cannot tell you for sure what they are, see the only FDA guidelines for pharmaceuticals in the US says they must have a unique imprint for ID purposes on each pill, which will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and even within one company according to dosage, that way all pill scan be indentified in case of an emergency. There are no proprietary guidelines having anything to do with size, shape, or color of any pills, capsules and etc. That is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Ready to stop taking loratabs ## Have you asked your doctor about using Subutex to get off the Lortab? Most pain management doctors should have a general understanding of what you need to safely get through the withdrawal phase of such medications. In the event that you can't get Subutex, I'd even consider cutting the Lortabs into smaller fractions so you can take a partial dose to help ween down and lessen your need for more addicting meds like Subutex. I only say that because I've been reading a number of posts stating how some people use Suboxone, Subutex, & Methadone to get off one med and they ironically end up getting addicted to those one's as a result of taking them for so long. Do the directions say to take it every 6 hours, or is it written to be taken on an as needed basis? If it's supposed to be taken on a schedule regularly, then 90 tablets would last about 22 and a half days, but if it's to be taken as needed, then this was most likely intended to be a 30 day supply. And yes to the first poster, if you have been taking them for a long time and stop suddenly you will suffer some withdrawal symptoms.
