How long do you have to be on this medication? ## Here's the main website for Chantix from the manufacturer Pfizer: Chantix Click Here Where you will find tons of information on the drug and its usage. The site says that most people will need to continue the drug for around 12 weeks, this of course will vary depending on how wel it is working for you and what your doctor recommends. ## I will tell you from my own experience that if the plan says 12 weeks do the 12 weeks. They have studied this drug long and hard and when they say 12 weeks they know more than we do. Stick to the 12 weeks and you will be more successful. Your mind and old habit will tell you you don't need it anymore, just like the same thing for picking up that first smoke after you have stopped (one won't hu...

Could you please tell me how long this medicine should be taken for or when it should be stopped? It's been almost 2 years so far. ## If he has epilepsy, he may need to take this medication, or another one for the rest of his life to help prevent dangerous seizures. My mother is taking pause-mf for heavy bleeding. Her doc suggested that she take it twice a day when her menses starts and continue it for 5 days... but is it really necessary to take it for 5 days? I mean if the bleeding stops in 2 or 3 days, shouldn't she stop taking it? ## Pause-MF contains Tranexamic Acid and Mefenamic Acid and it is most commonly used to help control bleeding. And she should take it for the amount of time suggested by her doctor, so it reaches its full efficacy in the body. But you might want to double check with her doctor to be certain.

the length of time 3omg oxycodone remains in the therapeutic rang ## How long does oxycodone remain in the therapeutic range for effective pain relief? Thanks ## Hey Dave, Concerning your question about oxycodone's therapeutic range, I imagine this would vary somewhat for each individual depending on tolerance and other individual factors. However, from my own research I would probably base my answer off of oxycodone's 3.2 hour half life for the immediate-release formulation. After that time frame following administration, the medication would no longer be at its peak so to speak (was not trying to rhyme there lol). Perhaps this is why they often recommend taking 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, since this is when more than half of the dose would've already passed through your body...

I am prescribed 50mg ultram (100 of them) - It says take every 6 hours. How many days is this supply supposed to last me? ## One every 6 hours would be 4 a day, so that would be 25 days. However, it really depends on the specifics of the prescription, for instance, if it is written to be taken as needed, your doctor may not expect you to always need to take 4 a day, so they may intend for it to last longer. What are the specific directions on the label? The FDA warns that this medications carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## William, Although mathematics would indicate a 25 day supply, most doctors or pharmacist's interpreting such would most likely indicate a 30 day or monthly supply...

My blood pressure is now 120/75. Should I continue taking the Tellzy ch 80mg? How will I know when it's time to stop treatment? ## Hi, Sultana! How are you? Yes, you should continue with your medication as long as your doctor instructs you to keep taking it. If it is the only thing that has lowered your blood pressure, it could start to go up again if you stop taking it. Additionally, if you stop taking it suddenly, rather than tapering it gradually, you could suffer a rebound effect which could cause your blood pressure and heart rate to go up to dangerous levels. ## My doctor prescribed me Tellzy-ch 80, but it is very costly to buy. Can you recommend any alternative low price tablet?
